Second-largest U.S. Indian tribe expels slave descendants

OKLAHOMA CITY (Reuters) - The nation's second-largest Indian tribe formally booted from membership thousands of descendants of black slaves who were brought to Oklahoma more than 170 years ago by Native American owners.

They'll be a lot better off in the long run. On the reservations the average life span is about 50 years. The unemployment rate is around 80%. They just “live” on the teat. Barely existing until death.

Probably Congress should withdraw recognition of tribe in retaliation. One good treaty violation deserves another - tit-for-tat.
