Tell your kids every day that you love them. Great heartwarming story about the bond and love between a father and son. Especially meaningful in today's media culture as this is a strong and Faithful black family.

Tell your kids every day that you love them

This is so important!

Never miss an opportunity to tell someone you care about that you love them. And always offer praise and encouragement when it is due. A kind person always strives to make everyone around them feel as comfortable and happy as possible. Our friends and loved ones can be lost to us suddenly, it's a horrific experience and one we all will face. You don't want to multiply the pain with regrets over things left unsaid.

This is the kind of wisdom I was raised on, I was so lucky... many people are not as lucky :-(
