Has Barack Obama turned himself into Lonesome Rhodes from the underrated but BRILLIANT movie "A Face in the Crowd?" Something about Obama whining that "If you love me, you got to help me pass this bill," about his jobs bill (is it in writing yet?) sounded familiar. I kept thinking and thinking where I heard that theme before and then it hit me...at the end of "A Face in the Crowd" in which a disgraced Lonesome Rhodes is begging for love. Watch the VIDEO and you can see Lonesome Rhodes begging for love at about the 35 second mark. It sure sounds familiar.
Obama Jobs Bill Speech to Congress=VitaJex Commercial
I thought he was paraphrasing the bible when Jesus says; “If you love me, keep my commandments”.
George Soros = General Haynesworth
Paging Paul Shanklin; Paul Shankli, pick up the red courtesy phone.
All that's needed is President Obama singing Mama Guitar to Michele's hoop action.
Walter Winchell=Blogosphere
Academia and the unions are about the only areas he can likely draw appreciative audiences without the potential of negative remarks. It’s all for show, so he has to go where he feels safe from the crowd.
Lonesome’s First Wife=Barack’s First Wife
Lonesome’s Long Elevator Ride=Barack’s Long Poll Slide
Who’s Marsha? I can’t think of a Marsha.
Solar Power=VitaJex
Marsha Jeffries=Larry Sinclair
Solar power is just like the chemist’s analysis of VitaJex, nothing in there but it wont kill you.
Can’t comment on that. I’ve never seen the movie. In fact, I didn’t recognize Griffith in the video clip until reading the comments here. My movie genres are pretty limited.
Memphis Woman Needs A Home=Henrietta Hughes Needs A Home
Floated by the DUmp this morning.
Interesting to find there are ^no^ threads discussing #attackwatch.
Sell that stuff about a man among men...
to those morons out there?
Shucks, I sell them chicken fertiliser as caviar.
I can make them eat dog food and think its steak.
Sure, I've got them like this.
You know what the public's like, a cage full of guinea pigs.
Good night, you stupid idiots.
Good night, you miserable slobs.
They're a lot of trained seals...
I toss them a dead fish and they'll flap their flippers.
-----------------------
And the current unemployment rate sure looks like a dead fish to me
I agree. That was an awesome movie. I saw it for the first time a few months ago on TCM.
Andy Griffith pulled that part of like no one else I can imagine. What a combination of “goofy” and scary.
The performance of a lifetime!
(Too bad Andy Griffith was a major leftist)
Mr. Luffler=Mr. Immelt
