I just received this email from a friend and I'm asking for prayers for my friend's daughter, Lauren.
I just got off the phone with my husband. Two doctors came in to speak to him and said the initial cytology reports on the fluid removed from Laurie's lung a few days ago showed cancer. They couldn't tell him more than that; how bad or not, curable or not or anything else at the moment. Now that they know what they are looking for they are doing a full body scan tomorrow and more blood tests.
FYI, her daughter is mentally challenged and it's really hard for her to understand what's going on.
Update: It is with a very sad heart that I have to tell you that Laurie has gone to be with our Lord. Thank you all for your prayers.
