Well I did promise to bring some rain with me when I move there. This is just a down payment... ;) :)

I guess you are in Texas? Great news, thank God! I hope it’s slow and steady.

So, Bachman didn’t realize that little dance she was doing last week was actually a rain dance!! Go Michele :-)

Copngratulations, where are you? Nothing on the radar in the Waco area but the humidity level is uncomfortable today.

When we were driving thru TX a couple of weeks ago it looked so bleak. We had to nearly stop 3 times for dust storms between Brownfield and Plains. (we are from TX so I know it's always *dry* out there, but I don't recall seeing it like this before, at least not in ages).
Wherever you are in TX I'm thrilled for you because it all looked like it needed a good long drink!

Yesterday we had our first “real” rain since April, but it didn’t last long, maybe 10 minutes.
It’s a start though, and I’m thankful. :)

Yes it is raining here in Houston too. I am thrilled. I don’t even mind if the dogs are wet. LOL

I live in Cypress Texas (northwest Houston), and we had a monsoonal event today, a drought buster for sure - we received 0.16 inches of rain in only 45 minutes!!
To: Marty62
I' don't know what part of Texas you are speaking of but there is some rain scattered about today it seems. We need a lot to make up for the 30+ inches we are short from the last few months.
