The homeowner realized that the house was full of smoke, woke up her daughter and fled the house.

Errrr...she "fled the house" WITH THE RABBIT, right? Or is that how the poor thing died?

And how did that rabbit get on her chest? This story is weird. Rabbits poop pills indiscriminantly. Her house must’ve been a nightmare. Did she sleep with the rabbit?

I am sure this rabbit was no different than a favorite and beloved dog or cat.

This is a sad story and yes, the rabbit was “heroic” in sensing something bad and alerting its loved ones.

I am 100% sure the family shed tears and may still be hurting at hearing of their pet’s demise.

It has been years since I lost my beloved kitties Neysa (at 18 people years) and Musica (at 26 people years) and I mourn them to this day.

Scratching her chest??

My mini-lop warns us that the deer outside the sliding glass doors are eating the plants, by thumping.

Thump, thump thump, just like Thumper of Bambi fame.

Wonderful, wonderful trained pets, but not for small children.

“Petey” has no “chest” but liquor boxes with access holes become a deconstruction zone, with lots of fun ripping noises!

Maybe this rabbit is the grandson of the rabbit that frightened Jimmuh Carter. Former Pres. Carter was doing a horrific job on the nation and that rabbit was probably trying to jolt the 2nd worst president in our history out of his destructive policies.

Pity Jimmuh never got the mesage.

Oh my, I had a pet rabbit that was litter trained. Only had one really big problem....it was chewing on our electrical chords.

How loud can it be when a rabbit scratches on it’s chest? What are they crickets?

Never pick up a rabbit during a fire. They have big tooths.
