In the Book Of Acts, the People of Berea would run home and check their Scriptures to see if what the Apostles were teaching could be true.

Yes Comrades, our first order of business will be to rename this town from Berea to Beria, in order to celebrate great cultural icon Lavrentiy.
The liberalism here in Berea is pretty much exclusive to Berea College, a liberal arts/folksy/craftsy school. Outside of that immediate area, it’s about as good ol country as it gets. This won’t go over well with the sensible locals.
