One week after suffering a concussion in a rough-and-tumble loss to the Falcons, Eagles quarterback Michael Vick broke his right hand on what he considered a late hit in Philadelphia's 29-16 loss to the rival New York Giants.

Take a dog. Any dog will do, they’re all worthless.
Weigh the dog.
Find a cinder block or chunk of cement that weighs more than the dog.
There are other methods, but, this is the best.
Stand the dog over the aforementioned chunk of whatever weighs more than it.
Use duct tape and wrap it continuously under the chunk of matter and over the back of the dog.
Use the entire roll if necessary.
Also, save a little of the duct tape and adhere the dog’s mouth shut so that it can’t chew itself out of the death trap.
Once you have finished these fun activities, find a pool of water.
If you haven’t measured the height of the dog first, just find a pool that has a least three feet of water, most dogs don’t stand over three feet tall.
Next...drop the dog in the water and enjoy the show.
Michael will tell you that it’s more entertaining than a guy’s night out at a comedy club.
I had him last year and in no way wanted him on my fantasy team this year. Too fragile!
Oh I agree. I don’t wish anyone harm, but I’m not going to cry about him. I was just pointing out a regular Joe did get a severe (sort-of) punishment. I know that dogs aren’t important to many on this thread, and that’s ok. You don’t have to like dogs, but one can’t ignore that it takes a special sort of evil to torture ANY of God’s creatures like that. It disturbs me that people can justify what he did just because they think he is a great football player. He isn’t, by the way.
Connection to Vick or those who cooperated with the prosecutors against Vick?
Just another indication of where we're headed as a society, IMO.
No, just an average Joe that you said wouldn’t be punished. I just wanted to point out that people are being held accountable more often for crimes against animals now. I doubt this guy had anything to do with Vick. I live a county over from Pamlico, so this was a big story here, and it popped into my mind when you made the comment I responded to.
Cry me a river. What childish maudlin fascination with the killing of an animal. I don’t like what he did, I don’t dwell on it to an inordinate degree. Animals are not people. Millions of animals are killed every single day, and all you maudlin uber dog lovers dismiss all that as “different”. Hunters, farmers, etc. Millions.
But oh my God, he killed dogs what kind of evil depraved person could do that? Maybe Farmer John? Oh, but Farmer John EATS them. Well, that’s better.
Yikes. Keep on diggin.
...and NO WE SHOULD NEVER LET IT GO, FORGIVE OR FORGET
This blood-thirsty position is literally straight out of hell.
OK, that guy was ringleader. IIRC, the others involved with Vick turned states evidence and got lenient deals so the prosecutor could get a big prize convicting Vick.
Vick broke the law and was punished. All fine.
What I object to is the hatred, wishing him dead, etc. The thread stated 99.7% of Vick fans would like to kill dogs if they could get away with it? Just bizarre.
Also I object to people who react to animal deaths MORE strongly than to crimes against humans.
Finally, with all the abuse of animals, people and every other wrong in this World, I think those who bother to hate Michael Vick with such a passion are frankly attracted to his celebrity case just as much as his fans.
And yes, I think animals, unlike people, lack souls and I also think those that have no problem with hunting and slaughtering ofanimals by the zillions are misguided when they then decide they want to KILL someone over a dog.
To clarify further, touch my dog and you die. Hurting one’s own animal is not a crime I am ready to punish with imprisonment. And BTW Michael Vick was NOT imprisoned for dog killing.
Maybe not a fun position, but rational. IMHO
They actually equated 9/11 with the killing of dogs? There are no words.
I’ll keep it in mind.
O my gosh...you must be miserable living so judgmentally as that. Good luck..you really need copingstrategiescd.com

My how easy it is to be forgiving when it wasn't one of your pets stolen and tortured to death.
The details are so gruesome that they were sealed by the court as part of the plea agreement.
Now, he is whining about the hits he is taking.
He is someone who always thought his talent meant he was going to be treated differently.
He is overrated as a quarterback and very rarely has completed a full season.
A righteous man regardeth the life of his beast, but the tender mercies of the WICKED are cruel (Pr.12:10)
That isn't PETA, that is the Bible.
So, caring for animals doesn't mean one thinks they are equal to people.
It means, since God has given them to man to rule man should care for them in a humane way.
PETA is the usual strawman that animal cruelty defenders use on FR
It seems you animal cruelty defenders have a hard time separating killing an animal for food, from torturing it for sport.
