A lesbian actress who starred in "The L-Word" said she kissed a girl — and got escorted off of a Southwest Airlines flight on Monday for doing it.
Leisha Hailey took to Twitter to call for a boycott of the carrier after a flight attendant told them other passengers had complained after witnessing the affection.
Her first tweet said: "I have been discriminated against." She later added, "Since when is showing affection to someone you love illegal?"
Southwest Airlines Co. responded on its website that Hailey was approached "based solely on behavior and not gender." The airline's four-sentence response said passengers were characterizing the behavior as excessive.

A quick peck on the lips likely wouldn’t have caused much of a ruckus with passengers. I heard on a radio program this morning that these two “L-words” were making out. If that is the case, it wasn’t appropriate. It wouldn’t be appropriate for a hetero couple either.

Sounds like a setup for a PR stunt or a lawsuit. After all, they weren’t hosed down.

The two managers at his place of employment are lesbians. They live together and everyone knows they are lesbians. But, they don't flaunt it and they keep it to themselves. Nobody cares. He told me a woman got hired that is also a lesbian and the subject came up and she told others she was also a lesbian. He told me that when she discovered that no one cared, she started to flaunt it until she got a reaction and the cried discrimination.
That's what this actress is doing. Flaunt her sexuality until she offends someone enough and now she gets to be a victim
