A lesbian actress who starred in "The L-Word" said she kissed a girl — and got escorted off of a Southwest Airlines flight on Monday for doing it.
Leisha Hailey took to Twitter to call for a boycott of the carrier after a flight attendant told them other passengers had complained after witnessing the affection.
Her first tweet said: "I have been discriminated against." She later added, "Since when is showing affection to someone you love illegal?"
Southwest Airlines Co. responded on its website that Hailey was approached "based solely on behavior and not gender." The airline's four-sentence response said passengers were characterizing the behavior as excessive.

Useful to point out that Southwest has no first class so I’m guessing the lady is having trouble finding lucrative work, or she would have been on Delta or American or some airline that caters to big money travelers.

I suspect they were making more than a simple kiss and you know what . Yet again we have more homosexuals flaunting their ways in front of families, children etc.
She’s lucky I was not on that plane because I am so pissed off with these perverts thinking the world evolves around them and their ways of getting off sexually.
She did this for attention and now got the negative attention but somehow she will become a martyr for her cause and most likely there will be a lawsuit.
I agree! I think it’s just as gross to see hetero’s doing it as well. I remember going to one of the lounges in college and having to avert my eyes from the couches because there would always be some couple making out and practically having sex in public. It took all I had not to shout at them to get a room! Doing that stuff on an airplane in front of small kids is even more grotesque!
I do believe however, that this was indeed a publicity stunt at the airline’s expense. This moron knew that she would cause this kind of response. Now she is calling for a boycott of SW Airlines! This lady is a disgusting pig with absolutely no self control. I would feel that way if she were a hetero too. If a hetero got thrown off the plane for the same thing they would not be able to complain about it. She is nothing more than the typical homosexual douche that wants more rights and privileges that heterosexuals.

Well in this sad state of affairs today I have had to tell my kids oldest 13 about the queer agenda and they now have told their pals at school that it is nor normal.
SWA has released a statement ... explaining, “Initial reports indicate that we received several passenger complaints characterizing the behavior as excessive.”
“Our crew, responsible for the comfort of all Customers on board, approached the passengers based solely on behavior and not gender. The conversation escalated to a level that was better resolved on the ground, as opposed to in flight.”

If they simply gave a normal peck on the cheek or hugged, it wouldn’t have been that big of deal.....just as with hetero couples, making out in public crosses the line.

You are 100% correct. My mom once told me about two ladies who lived in her small West Virginia town when she was a child (pre-1920). Everyone knew they were lesbians, but they didn’t flaunt it, and they were just nice people otherwise. No one cared about what they did behind closed doors.
When someone tries cleaning someone else’s tonsils with their tounge it is borderline obscene and in bad taste be they straight or not.
Their may not be laws against that in Public Owned Spaces, but on a plane it is private property and you have a “captive audience” so the people who own that property have the “right” to set standards of behavior on behalf of the company or the majority of paying customers.
She wasn’t kicked off the plane for her sexual preference, she was kick off becasue of her behavior.
