I think the primaries are being moved up to force Palin to declare sooner than she intends...

I believe that the ruling class politicians see Palin as a real threat to their status quo, and her postponement of announcing her candidacy as a hindrance to their stopping her.

One way to force her hand earlier than she intends is to move up the primaries.

Anybody else see a pattern here?

But she said she would let everyone know one way or the other by the end of Sept. Today is Oct. 1.

And Joe McGinnis and Nick Broomfield believed her and thought their little productions would work off that.

When asked. AGAIN.

<><><><

Again, did she need to wax as long as she did on Greta’s show, what with the ‘title’ talk, the ‘rogue’ talk, and the rest of the things she said? Do you really beleive that she is so unaware of the media’s workings that she is taken unaware at the days of discussion that follow her treatise on Greta’s show? Is she incapable of ‘I’ve addressed that previously, and will not do so now for all of the sharks in the media?’

Let me simplify the question a bit. Do you hold her at all responsible, in any way shape or form, for the continued speculation as to the timing and nature of her decision to run? As in, is she doing everything she can to squelch the continued speculation or is she fueling the speculation?

That's incredibly rude when I honestly expected to be able to have a conversation with you.

I was unclear as to what the conversation was to be about. I saw ALLCAPS and anger, and I really try to avoid that sort of thing, especially on high-tension threads like this. I think initiating a conversation with someone in that manner is also rude.

I won't be bullied and am getting tired of watching people use overly aggressive tactics with others who are supposed to be on the same side.

Isn't the primary objective to defeat Obama?

I hope you have a wonderful day as well.

She’s in their heads! LOL

Well, she's certainly in YOUR head. Is she the one making you laugh at your own posts?

and that “spotlight” is exactly why she will not run. If she gets to run in the general, its bad for her, cause who remembers a “Presidential Candidate”? And if she runs and doesn’t even get the nomination, that is even worse cause then no one will pay her to listen her talk.

Exactly. She won't run unless she thinks it's a slam dunk. Hate to break it to people, it's not. Despite what the leftist mediots will continue to spout, the GOP field isn't as weak as they want it to be AND Zero isn't nearly as strong a President as they hope him to be.

Hmmmm, lots of hopium going on, eh?

I believe the reason that FL gave for moving its primary up was that it is unfair for a small state with demographics that don’t match the country at large to have so much influence on public perception. FL sees itself as “more important” or “more relevant” (than IA, NH, SC, and NV) and aims to assert its self-importance in the public arena.

Or Romney could be afraid of the impending NH loss influencing the rest of the country for too long.

I stated patience was a virtue and you stated that so was honesty. I assume that you won’t have to look up what “innuendo” means.

As much as I like SP, the Earth has not YET started revolving around her.

The obvious reason states want earlier primaries is the enormous influence early primaries have on who becomes the party nominee. It is a party problem with, so far, no solution.

No. I have not. I have said she hasn’t announced her decision. I have never posted that she is running. Not ever.

Don’t you see the media tricks; even Fox News is playing on you?

Yes, that's another part of the comedy. The Palin fanatics have even created a fantasy that Fox News is out to get her. The woman IS a Fox News contributor and given endless puffball interviews to say what she wants, yet these people now believe Fox News is part of conspiracy to undermine her. For the die hard Palin followers, the whole world revolves around Sarah. The slightest quibble or even constructive criticism of her is met with angry tirades about how everything she does is part of some genius strategy, carefully designed to outwit all those even on the right who would dare question anything she says or does.
