Just curious, but when I see the LEFT wing anger, hatred, violence, threats, behavior, insults, assaults, attacks, etc. all directed towards conservatives, conservative values, etc
I got to tell you, I do. One of these rotten to the core individuals may want to make a name for him or even herself.
I'm just curious if any one here, most of whom seem like logical level headed, reasonable and rational people is beginning to fear for the next President should a Republican win. Or is it just me? I'm serious and curious. Thanks.
My wife is afraid someone may try to kill Sarah Palin.

Yes, I read Drudge, BLAZE, Briebart, and of course here and I listen to Dennis Prager every day....and I am getting more and more concerned for the safety of a Republican President. Or maybe even any prominent conservative.
I have never worried much about this sort of thing. The LEFT seems to have totally gone off the deep end. Unhinged. It’s a real concern now.
You think the Secret Service can prevent somebody from Killing the President if that somebody really wants to? Or worse, a group wanting to do harm? I don’t.

I think things are deteriorating since Bush. The LEFT is out of control even more so and if the economy doesn’t pick up, desperate people do desperate things, especially if they are unhinged to begin with.

The President is the best protected person in America. I’d be more worried about political attacks than physical.
The end result of JFK getting offed was that everything he ever dreamed of, and then some, sailed through Congress. Something like that happening under the current regime would be a death knell for America.

Agree, and Roseanne and Michael Moores of the world and unions and the rest of these pathetic people are fanning the flames as is all the LEFT wing media.
The media has never been this LEFT. They are not liberal....they are LEFT. And that is what is fanning the flames of these people. And it’s going to get worse, that’s the bad part. The economy isn’t getting any better under this guy.
I have my concerns that whomever is elected to replace Obama will have attempts made on their lives. Election night and for several weeks thereafter, inner citties across the nation will burn.
Race riots everywhere, possibly moving into the ‘burbs where the “inner city youth” feels that their real enemy lives.
Eventually a pigmentally challenged person will fight back using deadly force.
The President elect will have an attempt made on his life.
The nation devolves into armed camps segregated sadly along color lines.

Absolutely . . . If I’m not mistaken, every one of the presidential assassins was a lefty. I fear very much for Palin and Bachmann, both very lovely, highly accomplished women. That’s a no-no for the libtards. The left’s hatred for both of them I think would be very dangerous for both of them.

I would be more afraid right now that someone will threaten president obama, and make it look like “the Tea Party” caused it.
To the cabal running this plan to take down the USA, there could come a point where obama is worth more as a martyr to the cause than as a failed potus and failed candidate. It is doubtful even obama, the street rat, recognizes his role in this game.
the adminstration’s anti-Tea Party domestic army is being assembled and deployed to major urban centers. They may soon lose the protection of a compromised Holder.
However, the GOP leadership in Congress has been proven weak, spineless and and ineffectual in countering disinformation and stopping a backlash, and there is no true front runner and leader in the running for 2012
Pray for obama ,that he run in 2012 and be decisively defeated at the ballot box. Any other scenario is almost unthinkable.
If I were Sarah that would be a factor in my decision but knowing her run to danger attitude it may not be as big a consideration as it maybe should be. I would never forgive the left if something like that were to happen though.

I think that the fear the original poster has might be misplaced. If BO gets the boot in '12, the Republican has no more to worry about than any other president.
However, everyone who lives in the projects on the corner of Main St and MLK Blvd in EveryTown USA, has plenty to worry about. Starting with their houses burning down and moving on from there.
Next Nov. 7th might be a little scary in America.
But if there is a Palin or Perry President, It would be the first time the President returned fire during an assassination attempt.

Agree. As far as domestic threats, Obama is as safe as a Michael Moore at virtually any major college. And I’m glad he’s safe.
But if a Republican President gets in....and I’m head of Secret Service....I’ll be looking for a major budget increase and hiring binge. That job will get a whole lot harder overnite.

Look at the kook who shot Giffords out in AZ earlier this year. The guy was a crazy liberal that went after her because she wasn't paying enough attention to his ideas, or some such nonsense. But, before the ambulance had even dropped her off at the hospital, the shooter had already been connected to the Tea Party and Sarah Palin by the MSM.

Still, the LEFT is more prone to do something like that and the Secret Service will probably need unprecedented help and support should a Republican get in. And I hope they get it otherwise, yes...I do have a concern about the mental stability and state of mind of these LEFT wing misguided and very pathetic people.
If the left assassinates or attempts to assassinate a conservative president of this country, it will be the last mistake they will ever make.
I think they're having a lot of success right now because they've got lots of money and resources to play with, courtesy of Uncle Sugar. Follow the money, and be prepared to nuke wherever the trail ends from orbit.

How about we get one first—a real conservative president—and then worry about it.
Well, let’s take a look at Presidential level attacks since November of 1963.
JKF killed in 1963
RFK killed in 1968
Gerald Ford shot at (in two seperate instances) in 1975
Reagan shot in 1981
Bush (Sr) attempted bombing in 1993
Clinton had a plane flown into the White House in 1994, a man fire a rifle at the White House in 1994, and was the target of a bomb on a bridge in the Philippines in 1996.
Bush (Jr) had a man fire a pistol at the White House in 2001 and had a live grenade thrown at him in Tbilisi, Georgia in 2005.
Since RFK was killed on the night of the California primary in 1968, we have had 9 serious attempts at the assassination of a President, former President or Presidential candidate. That’s one every 4.7 years.
I don’t fear for the safety of any President or serious candidate.
Think about how revolutions happen (which is being pushed by EVERYONE on the left right now) and how TPTB are using the useful idiots (communists, socialists, anarchists and the whole burn-it-down crowd) to seize power (suspend elections) right now.
Of course TPTB arent going to give the useful idiots what they want. When they figure that out, I think we should all worry about Obama. If one of these rotten to the core individuals gets at the President, it'll all be blamed on the right (like they already always do).

I’m actually more afraid that someone from the left (like Travis Loughner) will make an attempt on Obama so that the media can blame it on the Tea Party, and then suggest that Obama should be president for life.
I fear for the Republican candidate, or the not-quite Republican candidate. The one the LEFT fears will win. No, it’s not just you, I pray especially for the Lord’s protection of Herman Cain and Sarah Palin.
I agree because the next President will actually have to cut out a lot of the socialist pork that leftists love.
The next President/Congress will actually have to cut spending , not just cut the increases.
