I am in the middle of a book I wish ALL African Americans would read, and white Americans too for that matter. Called;

“Setting the record straight: American history in Black & White” by David Barton.

If they were to read it, all but the most brainwashed would have to ask them selves , “how did Blacks ever align themselves with Democrats?” The Democrats were clearly the pro-slavery party in the 1800s, and following the Civil War fought against giving former slaves any civil rights and having blacks a part of the political process. The Democrats were the Klu Klux Klan, formed to intimidate anyone black or white from voting for pro-civil rights Republicans in southern elections. And we can argue that the Democrats still have Blacks in a form of slavery, by twisting their knowledge of history by pretty much erasing history older than MLK. And their new slave master is keeping's them in “Want”, and the Government being the provider.

I heard a black lady call into Liberal Talk radio yesterday with the subject of Republican racism (The Perry story), and she said “Republicans have been racist going back centuries, and that the only good Republican was Lincoln”. After reading much of the book, I was not angry with her. My heart actually wept for her and those who have been “brainwashed” like Cain said.

Having Southern Democrat roots myself, I find the book is a real eye-opener. Never have I seen so much valuable information gathered in one place about the REAL history of the US and Black America that is not twisted to manipulate the reader. I believe there is a DVD also which I will have to check out.

Before 1932 and FDR's rise to power, the GOP would garner 65%-70% of the black vote. Since 1932 the Dems have been successful in securing a lock on the black vote. They've done this by promising black folks a bigger role in bigger govt. Government has replaced the plantation. This the same big govt socialist mindset that not only affects blacks, but also plays a big role in the thinking of most Jews, Hispanics, homos and union members. All them minority groups.

The Dems have also been successful in turning the tables and convincing many people to think of the GOP in 2011, as the Democratic Party of 1865. A masterful handling of a pure propaganda issue and a total blatant lie.

I have had so many friends decide to home school their children this year because they decided they just can’t handle the liberal indoctrination anymore, and private school cost too much. (I home school too, and I am SO glad I do. My kids learn the real history of our country)

My dad told me about the history of the Dems. Can’t brainwash history one has lived through and knew before the Marxist re-educators took over. He also told me the Nazis were socialists.

Blacks went to dems because Dems offered them what they had offered to party whites - race hate doctrines and preferences. Delivering the doctrines of race hate, scapegoating and revenge is what liberalism’s “multiculturalism” or “diversity” is all about.
