Still, the overzealousness of that 10% would’ve posed a liability in the elections.

if youbsaw the video last week of Bristol being confronted in north Hollywood... you’d understand her thinking. that loon was a half step from knifing her

I’ve also noticed a complete lack of cover from ANY GOP leaders while she was being attacked. gutless types, all of them

itll be interesting when she heads an independent ticket... after all, why be GOP when they do nothing but try and trip her up

It would have a major impact on the rest of their lives.

When does the period of grieving end, anyway?

I’m looking forward to seeing Sarah’s many supporters getting a grip QUICK, and then doing what she herself would want them to do, which is to get engaged in this battle for the soul of America, and get that Kenyan ding-dong out of the White House.

These endless “woulda-shoulda-coulda” self-flagellating vanities do nothing to push back this illegitimate regime in Washington.

agreed- and while i love Palin and would’ve supported her to the end, the way she bailed as govenor of Alaska, didn’t see it through and make the sacrifice necessary made her unelectable with the independents, who are vital next November...

She didn’t run because she knows most republicans decided she jumped the shark when she got her own reality TV show.

Her eldest son serves in the military and her youngest has Down Syndrome. I'd cut her some slack.

Never going to happen. She knows it would lead to the recoronation of the Kenyan.

She’s a young woman with a long future ahead of her.

I saw a comment a couple months ago in a thread about Christian women being forcibly converted to Islam in Egypt (I think). In response to several comments that the women should have martyred themselves, someone else commented that saying you should be a martyr is much easier than actually being one.

It strikes me that this thread needs a similar comment. It is far easier to tell someone to put their kids through an extremely difficult experience than to make your own kids do it.

She’s a woman. She can still change her mind.

Horsecrap. leave her alone, she made her decision and you need to get off her back and get a life.

Find someone else to obsess over.

You are sick.

They’d probably get over it quicker if you weren’t constantly prodding with a stick. I asked you to give it a rest a couple days ago, but you just have to keep it up.

With people like you, I can honestly say that I am embarrassed to be a Palin supporter.

Is it not a possibility that in addition to considerations of her family (which I certainly can understand) she may have gone through the process she promised many months ago to follow? That being to wait and see who else stepped forward and if there was someone she could wholeheartedly support she would choose not to run.

If that is the case I have no idea whether it is Perry, Cain, Bachmann, one of the other candidates not currently or not yet in fashion, or some combination of two or more that leaves her feeling the fight is in good hands. But that's what she said she'd do and from what I've observed of the lady she tends to do what she says she will.

And there's the whole "asking God and listening to His advice" part which must sound like BS to an unbeliever but rings true for me.

Fine. Sacrifice your own life. Sacrifice your own family.

You can’t demand that from others. You can only give it for yourself. Or not.

I don’t think so. Less than a week after Perry got in she said that she still didn’t see anyone she could support.

Mr. Cain's performance in the last few weeks may have made an impression on her.

Jess, mkjessup gave it a rest for many months. Ain’t his fault some of these people are more obsessed with Sarah than they are concerned about the country.

I think it is rude, considering the reasoned post mkjessup made, to give him a hard time for being reasonable.

Some of you should be ashamed of yourselves.

Feeding this silly obsession does nobody any good at all.
