Patricia Breslin? The actress who co-starred in the 1950s sitcom “The People’s Choice” with Jackie Cooper?
As a lifelong Cleveland Brown’s fan...may she rest in peace.
Sí.
Fortunately or unfortunately, I remember that show, especially being able to hear the thoughts of Cleo the dog.
Yeah, I saw “The People’s Choice” in reruns on a cable-channel in the early-1990s. The 1st-season was pretty decent, but in the 2nd-season, Sock and Mandy (Cooper, Breslin) got secretly married and too many plots revolved around them trying to keep this secret, which got tiresome. I think it might have rebounded a bit in the 3rd and last season, but I don’t fully recall. The series was okay, but pretty generic 1950s sitcom fare.
Mary Jane Croft was the ‘voice’ of Cleo, the basset hound, whom the viewer would hear her ‘thoughts.’
Not to reveal TOO much information, but I took care of Mr. Irsay who owned the Baltimore (later Indianapolis) Colts when he was hospitalized. His second “wife” was the biggest gold-digger I’ve ever met. Amazing how much a man will throw away for a pretty face/body, even at the cost of his family, wife, children, fortune. And she wasn’t “all that and a bag of chips” IMHO.
May she burn in Hell for supporting Art after he stole the browns and moved them to B-More...

Whar are you complaining about? Cleveland got a team back in short order and got to retain the "Browns" name. Luckier than some in that regard, including Baltimore.
So now you can root for your crappy team, same as the old crappy team. Continuity!
