These stunning images reveal a remarkable glimpse of life at the ends of the earth. Our melting polar worlds have been captured in breathtaking pictures by the BBC for this autumn's landmark natural history series Frozen Planet. It is the last chance to see the world's greatest wildernesses before they change forever, according to narrator Sir David Attenborough.

'The pictures captured behaviour and phenomena that had never before been recorded,' said Sir David, 85. 'Those pictures will become increasingly valuable as time passes.

'For this may well prove to be our last chance to record, in their full splendour, these astonishing wonderlands that have existed for hundreds of thousands of years before humans reached them and which now, within a century, may change beyond

For a polar bear, I think she's kinda cute.

Those ice caps are melting so terribly from our man made pollution to our earth. Those poor polar bears may not see next year. Stop this global crisis and save these poor creatures. </Sarc>

Beautiful photos, but I wish David Attenborough would stop with all the drama.

Nice fairy story. It is summer and ice melts, nothing new here. The brutish had Greenland 17% under its real size so I wonder what they are trying to pull here.

Are they sure the ice caps aren’t melting due to volcanic activity? If that were the reason, would they admit it?

Sir David, I think the polar ice caps will be there for a much longer time than you can possibly imagine.

From the expressions on their faces, I'd say it's more likely the after-effects of her asking him if her butt looked fat.

An article of faith from the AGW catechism.

This is the type of political overtones you see nearly everywhere today. Note the term melting polar world as if it's established that this is a fact. This is a Goebbels tactic. Just keep telling the big lie long enough and it will become the truth whether it is or not. The English Press is the absolute worst at this but the American Press isn't far behind. Both are terrible on this subject.

“STEP RIGHT UP, THIS IS YOUR LAST CHANCE. STEP RIGHT UP”

I don't believe these barkers of “global warming” hysterics any more than the carny folks trying to separate me from my money.

What will the shills be crying centuries from now when the Earth begins another Ice Age?
History will look back on us and say “wow were they a dumb group, pity they were fooled by Gore et. al.”.

Our Earth has never had a stable climate. Don't be fooled by those frauds who say it has!
