Free Republic has been an oasis in the desert to me for ten years now. Seems like I just signed up yesterday though, so there must be a time warp in play.
Thanks are in order for a lot of folks who make this such a great place.
For doing the grunt work on Freepathons, enabling this site to keep on trucking, thanks go out to onyx, RedMDer, trisham, TheOldLady, JoeProBono, DJ MacWoW, and many others.
For keeping us up to speed on 2nd Amendment issues and our RKBA, thanks go to marktwain, mylife, MestaMachine, JohnRLott, neverdem, and others.
For the great laughs, thanks go to pookie18 for bringing us "Today's Toons".
For all the great images showing us the beauty around us if we will only look, thanks go to SWAMPSNIPER.
