TheBlaze ^ | 10/18/2011 | Billy Hallowell

Posted on 10/18/2011 12:42:06 PM PDT by izzatzo

As the Blaze reported yesterday, GOP presidential candidate Herman Cain seems to be Joe Scarborough’s newest electoral target.

In speaking about the former Godfather’s Pizza CEO on Monday, Scarborough said, “Herman Cain and this 999 thing is just an absolute joke.” Now, he has an equally negative opinion about the entirety of the Republican Party.

God help us if the Media elites manage to get their way and we are stuck with Romney. I know there will be many Republicans that will stay home.....Obama is very beatable why we would want to handicap ourselves with a RINO loser like Mittens is beyond me! We must not allow this to happen......

Wow. Never thought I would agree with Joe. The Republican party has become such a Democratic lite that it is sad. Go conservative only!!! Of course that ONLY includes Cain, Santorum and Bachmann in the current group.

Once (thought to be) a champion of conservative principles, member of the 1994 GOP House “revolution”... “Morning Joe” has $old his $oul for liberal pottage. He has become the MSNBC “GOP Organ Grinder Monkey”... and says what liberals approve of as GOP thought... sorta a “Washington Generals to Harlem Globetrotters” form of political opposition. Sad!

‘My Republican Party Has Lost Their Way’

Your GOP was found dead on your office floor, Joe. Apparently it "slipped and hit its head".

I remain only vaguely aware of Joe S.’s existence. Stupid comments like his will keep that true for me and most Americans.

Shhhh, Joe, listen!!! Did you hear that sound? It is the sound of nobody on this side of the aisle still not giving a poop what you think.

On another note, is it me or does Joe Scarborough spouting his opinions about conservatives and the GOP bring to mind that age old question. If a tree falling in the forest and nobody is there to hear it does it make a sound? If a guy desperately trying to be relevant dribbles an out of touch opinion during his show on a network that has two viewers.. . . .

Benedick Joe Scarborough,

The party didn't leave you, you left the party. Now you are a know nothing commentator on a network nobody watches. You made your choices now live with them.

As I said above, technically, he does not exist. He is allegedly someone on a a network that nobody watches. Therefore, I perscribe to the theory that he does not exist. Prove me wrong.

A lot of Republicans just can't accept Conservatives choosing a Conservative Republican nominee who finally takes a serious stance on illegal immigration instead of nominating the status quo pro-illegal immigration candidate. There was nothing offensive or wrong about what Cain said. Cain said something that the majority agree with, but the out of touch pro-illegal immigration guys can't accept that. He didn't say he was going to kill illegals, but warn them that if they tried to scale an electric fence it would kill them. If you're stupid enough to try it you deserve what you get. He showed he's going to take a stance on illegal immigration which no one has done in my lifetime regardless of the plan he goes with in the end. It will be something serious, and meant to have a significant affect on the problem.

Cain isn't going to fall in the polls like RINO’s and Democrats are hoping for, and thinking will happen if they say it will over and over. Cain has no reason to lose votes, so it's not going to happen no matter how many times they write an article saying it will, because of his campaign organization and cash. They don't seem to understand that his political views play an important role in his poll numbers. It's just laughable they don't talk about the reason he is surging, which is his Conservative stance on the issues. It's not going to take long for him to put together a more organized team, and I'm sure he's continuing to bring in more money each day. Once he starts getting the big endorsements he will get more donations as well. But money doesn't matter as much since the TEA party gained power anyway. No amount of money can get Conservatives voting for liberal candidates. Romney lost the last primary after spending huge amounts of money, and can't get a significant lead this time around. That's because the issues are what's important. We aren't going to stop supporting Cain suddenly because of his campaign team or his money. There's no logic to that.
