Like I said - “No Woman No Cry”. One of Marley’s biggest hits. Hamilton is sending a message to his ex - and the world at large. Brundle and Coulthard briefly mentioned the Marley design in the BBC race commentary but didn’t follow through with the meaning. I wonder why. Did they not figure it out (they were mumbling something about a Marley tribute - what, 30 years after the guy died?) or were they going easy on Hamilton?
Anyway, back to the race, did Massa damage his front suspension on purpose? It sure looked that way to me.
He broke the right front suspension on one of those raised orange curbs yesterday in qualifying. And after he gets the penalty for the incident with Hamilton (heh, Hamilton again) in the race today he hits one of those first right front and then in the following turn left front - bang! and goodbye! He was AIMING for those suckers knowing what would happen! I wonder whether Massa will be driving for Ferrari next season...
The race itself seemed to go pretty smoothly. Nice layout but that haze/smoke was distracting. My wife tells me it’s very common around Delhi, similar to parts of China.
So Baraq’s claim he stopped the oceans from rising and the earth began to heal may be contingent on the (sh1tty) atmosphere in Indian and China?
Who knew?
Yes. My wife tells me that’s a common phenomenon for this time of year in Delhi. However, the race commentator’s comments were heartening, in that this is apparently one of the best tracks in the series (something supported by the drivers), and the fact that the event itself went so smoothly, and the facility was in such good shape (unlike the Commonwealth Games) that this is likely to become a favorite on the race calendar in the future. I missed being able to be there this year, though several other family members were able to attend, but I’ll be there next year for sure.
My wife is from Mumbai but doesn’t look like I’ll ever make it there (or to an F1 event, for that matter). Oh well, looking forward to visiting the new Oregon Raceway Park next spring (not too far away) and there’s always the Mt. Everest webcam http://www.evk2cnr.org/WebCams/PyramidOne/everest-webcam.html
