Has anyone seen the polls on real clear politics? While nearly all the polls show Obama with a 50% or higher disapproval rate, they also show Obama head to head with every candidate in the general election and swing states.
What gives?
It’s a year to the general election, fret not.
The poll showing HRC up double-digits over the entire field was pretty scary, too.
I’m afraid the country has become too stupid to remain free.
Whenever you see his approval rates are around 40% or less, those include liberals who are upset that 0bama is not leftist enough or not fighting against Republican hard enough.
Meanwhile, Republicans are not firmed on one candidate yet. Supporters of a candidate are not comfortable enough to shift their allegiance to another one, especially when it comes to Romney (among the conservative Republicans) or Cain/Perry/Gingrich (among the liberal Republicans).
Fret not. First we need a nominee. Then we need to unite to defeat Obama. Get the tea party fire back.
Because they are all big fat losers. None of them have the willpower let alone vision to change the ‘status quo’. None of them are ‘leaders’. All of them will say anything they think will get them elected. None of them have displayed any potential for doing anything actually politically unpleasant. None of them are worthy presidential candidates. Most people are probably thinking ‘better the devil we know...’. The only way any of them could POSSIBLY get elected is if we had the worst Democrat president ever to run against. So they got that going for them.
Obama is owned by the bankers.
Mitt is owned by the bankers.
Cain worked for the Federal Reserve, i.e. is owned by the bankers.
All the other candidates are toast.
Whoever wins will be owned by the bankers. We're headed for a massive depression because the bankers can't afford to reveal that they have bankrupted the US, and we refuse to sentence them as traitors.
We're too busy pretending that there is some free market utopia out there if we only vote enough small government conservatives into office.
The search for the free market utopia is as fruitless and dangerous as the search for a communist utopia was.
Obama is under 50% against all the potential GOP nominees. He is in big trouble.
Because there is a good chunk of lefties that disapprove of what Barry has done, but they will never vote Republican. Some of them don’t like what he has done, and some super libs don’t like that he hasn’t moved the country far enough to the super-left.
Democrats come out in support of their favorite Left wing bankrupt outlets, leaving in question what coverage the press must give in return.
Most people aren’t paying attention..
Ignore “All respondents” polls, and only pay scant attention to any poll that isn’t “Registered voters” for the next several months.
IOWA is going to be very telling of what the rest of the Primary season will bring.
No point in worrying about any of it. Do what you can, and let the chips fall where they may. If hard times are ahead, there is no reason to spoil your good times now by worrying about what may or may not happen in the future.
Most people vote with there pocketbooks, and what this douchebag has done to the country, I see him getting his ass kicked 55%-45% in 2012. Note: I’m not a political pollster, but I am staying at a holiday inn tonight.
If and when we nominate a non-Romney candidate things will start to come into focus quickly.
The tea party/conservative grassroots are going to step up to the plate far more than we ever have before.
Rasmussen just reported a Wisconsin poll that had Perry 46% and Obama 42%.
take two aspirin and call somebody who cares in the morning
“Fret not. First we need a nominee. Then we need to unite to defeat Obama. Get the tea party fire back.”
Amen, FRiend - particularly that second sentence!
“IOWA is going to be very telling of what the rest of the Primary season will bring.”
Interesting that this “story” broke about Herman Cain on the heels of his beating Romney in the Des Moines Register poll, isn’t it?
