You’re welcome, t-pammy and, you’re right...we have so much that never gets a thought as so much is just taken for granted.

You know what they say about when it rains...an such!

Take a deep breath...stay calm (I know it's frustrating) and say a little prayer. I will say one for you as well! :)

And one for your Mom.

JC, this was a DARLING clip! Thank you for sharing - I have emailed the link to all my friends!

Folks, it took seven minutes after I clicked “post reply”. That is the way it has been every time I tried to post, today.

I am so sorry - I wanted to reply to everyone - but today was not a good day, for me, on FR!

((((HUGS)))) to all!

I was getting ready to close and thought I’d check the thread and there YOU were! Thanks, yorkie. I knew you’d enjoy it! I finally quit posting today because it was just taking too long and I did ask once if anyone else was having trouble. I hope it speeds up soon. It causes double posting sometimes, too!

Have a great ‘rest of the evening’. Its beddy-bye time here! Goodnight yorkie and all!

You should have seen what spell check tried to tell me about beddy-bye.....LOL!

Actions And Results

November 30, 2011

On November 24, 1971, a man known today as D. B. Cooper hijacked a commercial flight between Portland and Seattle by threatening to blow up the plane unless he received $200,000. After landing to receive a ransom, he ordered the plane back into the air. Then the rear stairs of the 727 aircraft were lowered, and he parachuted into the night. He was never captured, and the case is still unsolved. This act hastened the age of airport security in which trust and confidence have been replaced by suspicion and fear. What he did affected us all.

The Bible describes two actions that changed the world in a far more significant way. Through Adam’s choice, sin and death entered the world, “and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned” (Rom. 5:12). But through Christ’s sacrifice on the cross, God provided a remedy for the results of sin. “Through one man’s [Adam’s] offense judgment came to all men, resulting in condemnation, even so through one Man’s [Christ’s] righteous act the free gift came to all men, resulting in justification of life” (v.18).

Christ did what no one else could do when He broke the power of sin and death by His resurrection. He offers forgiveness and eternal life to all who will accept His gift. And for that, we thank Him with all our hearts.

When Adam sinned, death spread to all—
One act condemned the human race—
But Jesus’ death upon the cross
Provides mankind God’s saving grace. —Sper

The cross of Christ can cure the condemnation of Adam’s choice.

Read: Romans 5:12-19

If by the one man’s offense many died, much more the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, abounded to many. —Romans 5:15

What a Puppy Understands
by Eric R. Ode

She's small and cute but underfoot.
She won't come when I call.
She gnaws and chews my finest shoes
and piddles in the hall.

She finds disguise in umber eyes
so innocently gazing,
then howls at night with all her might
until my voice is raising.

But truth be told, although I scold
with reprimands unbending,
she cocks her head at what I've said
as if uncomprehending.

Yet when I doubt what life's about
and question all I've known;
and when my heart has come apart,
and when I cry alone,

she licks my tear and snuggles near,
her head beneath my hands.
To my surprise, I realize
she truly understands.

Beautiful Song from a great performer.
Thank you.
Winds are picking up today and Autumn leaves are indeed falling and blowing around the neighborhood.
Bay Area is supposed to get wind gusts near 70 MPH and we’ll get remnants of those winds here in The Big Valley.
