I still tune in to Rush, but less and less. I guess after 20 years it finally starts to get old. It's just very boring and predictable. Plus, no fault of his, since his hearing loss, his intonation has become a little less friendly on the ears--more nasal, high-pitched. And don't get me started on his tea.

Actually, my favorite radio shows happen to be the least political, and the most local--Marc Simone and Joe Crummie. My least favorite shows right now are Rush, Levin, and Hannity.

Exception--I love when Steyn subs for Rush.

If I could get Savage in good reception, I might listen. He can definitely be entertaining, and he's a pretty good raconteur.

Savage and John Batchelor are my two favorite hosts.

Rush/Levin/Hannity are as predictable as the sun.

Rush will be severely tested if Rmoney wins the nomination.

Nahhhh. He found a way to muddle through the nomination of Yosemite Sam.

Rush has been awful lately. Completely unlistenable.

I agree but would like to know your reason for saying that. For several months he stutters and does not finish sentences and too many of those one way conversations with Bo, all of which makes him hard to listen to for me.

I don't dislike Hannity, but he is hard to listen to. He asks never ending questions and talks over his guests and callers.

He sometimes gets side tracked by arguing small points and misses the big picture. I think he starting to lose market share on a consistent basis.

I've been switching over to Michael Medved at the same time. He sometimes causes me to disagree with him, but he is a superb debater with an elephant's memory for facts, figures and historical data. Liberals who attempt to argue him down are at a disadvantage.

I hear her on my way home from work on Saturday afternoons on WABC radio.

Hope that helps.

Ditto for Sarah Palin, his rivals and a lot of Tea Party patriots. We have to work hard to see that they’re not compromised. We have conservatives running against him.

Looks like more and more people are tired of Hannity providing a forum for the ‘Architect’...bye, Sean.

"And don't get me started on his tea."

Why? His iced tea is great. I even gave some to the libs in the office to try, but wouldn't tell them what brand it was. They all loved it, said it was the best tea they've had in a long time.

I told them it was Rush's tea. If they went and purchased it, I highly doubt they would fess up to it.

Thanks, I’ll give him a try. I really like Don Wade and Roma on WLS in the morning.

“Really? He’s about the biggest Romneybot around.”

Agree.

I can’t stand meat head Medved.

Dead Head is very critical of Cain and he is a big-time rino supporter.

He rambles on tangents, avoids major issues, simply reads headlines off of Drudge and RCP ,etc.

Its beyond boring.

How many times does rush even discuss F&F?

His show is background noise at best lately.

Perhaps even his loyal listeners grew tired of his maddeningly repetitive schtick.

Like I said, I don't have to agree with him to be impressed in his debate abilities. He brings a clarity to his arguments that many other hosts aren't capable of. When he is attacked, he stays calm and refutes allegations with facts that can't be disputed.

He recently spent time on the candidates and although I am not a big Romney fan I understood his point of who may be electable and who may not. His stand is that taking out Obama and gaining the Senate is the most important thing for America.

I have to go along with that. As much as I'd like to see a destruction of the beltway society, I know how disastrous a send Obama term could be.
