A man his age singing about mother and walls has serious issues.

Roger Waters is a Jew-hating, anti-Semitic Palie-sympth. Has been for years.

I saw Waters in concert once. Great show, musically. But ugh, halfway through the show he did a bit where he set up a mike stage on the floor and started taking questions from audience members so he could share his “wisdom” on politics, the environment, etc. Ugh.

And don’t even get me started on the time I saw Fishbone at a bar in Indianapolis and the saxophone player stopped the show for like ten minutes to make time for his “Free Mike Tyson” rant...

I'm sure his best days were as a part of Pink Floyd -- ditto for all of them, though I'm sure anything Rick Wright did solo (which I've never heard of) would have been tremendous.

The final cut was a waste of the time it took me to listen to it once, and that all Waters, all the time.

I guess Pink Floyd would have been a terribly hard act to follow, even for Pink Floyd.

I love his music. I hate his politics. Same with Leonard Cohen.

I’d rather see David Gilmour.

I think there needs to be a mirroring Ted Nugent and Amboy Dukes tour next door for each show. Let the Nuge play Stranglehold for about 30 minutes while the Marshall amps are on “11”

He did a solo album entitled ‘Shattered Glass’ which was interesting, but not full of what could be described as catchy tunes...

Both David Gilmour and Rick Wright are(were) musical geniuses in their own right with outstanding solo careers.

Waters has been and continues to be an embarrassment.

Me too. High Hopes Gdańsk Shipyard 2006

I tell ya, Its worse than fingernails on a chalkboard when a foreigner with a foreign accent has any comment what so ever about how America is or should be ran.

NOW, more than ever, Waters needs to STFU ! I dont even want to hear him sing.

Talk about egos. Just because a person can sing doesn’t mean they are wise about politics. They just think they are divine.

Nobody, including Roger Waters, thinks Roger Waters can sing. Waters' creative contribution is immeasurable, from what I surmise. I think he was the creative impetus; even though all the members made creative contributions. He wrote most of the lyrics on Dark Side, which means he envisioned the whole thing in some form or another, which is masterful in it design.

IMHO Gilmour's first solo record was fine, technically, but had none of the compelling artistic urgency of Dark Side. Certainly as a guitarist he is peerless.

Sum-of-the-parts, and all.

Great quote in the Rolling Stone interview recently by Gilmour (if you haven't read it yet): "...when you're playing onstage and the volume is so loud that you can't fall over if you lean back, that's a hard drug to kick..."

I mean “Nobody, not even Roger Waters...”. I just wanted to post the correction before the grammar police (who are usually merciful to me) are alerted.
