Bialek said yesterday that her boyfriend at the time booked the room for her, which I thought was a strange fact to include in her statement. What relevance does that have, whether she booked it or the boyfriend booked it? By the way if it was booked under Bialek’s boyfriend’s name, unless Cain is a mindreader how could he unilaterally upgrade her room? He wouldn’t know the name it was under.

His not upgrading her room does prove one thing - she's a liar, on at least that point. If she fabricated the room upgrade story, it raises a question as to her basic credibility. What else might she be lying about? Everything?
I travel extensively with professional and amateur racing teams. I have never been able to get anything changed in my team supplied room outside of adding my CC information for anything additional than the group paid for the room.
Also, as we check in en-mass we are usually not aware of the room numbers of teammates. When I go to, or call, the front desk to ask for the room of a particular person, they will call from the front desk and hand me the phone or make the connection via switchboard telling me at both that they are not permitted to give me the room number.
If we want to change the rooms in any way, the logistics person must make the call and provide the card number to make any changes.
So from my experience, she is lying and they feel there is no way to cross verify this.
With that said, seeing she has declared bankruptcy two times and recently had an asset seizure ruling set against her, her debtors information is a matter of public record and a very good investigator can track that information down. The only thing missing is the date which all of this was alleged to have happened.
So many things like rental cars, airline tickets (which they have to keep the information because of security practices) the landscape is rich with resources but it won’t be accomplished tomorrow or anytime reasonably soon enough to matter to the primaries.
Turn on mark Levine - she used to work for CBS and people there said she had a ‘reputation’. He’s playing tapes from a morning show from Chicago where people who knew her said she probably went after Cain when the car was parked ...
This isn't THATout of the ordinary. I don't know how often it happens, but it does happen. A good friend of mine's family owned a Hilton hotel in Arkansas. I went down to New Orleans one Summer on a regular booked room. They found out I was going down there and staying at the Hilton, and voila I had a much nicer room.

I’m not sure how 3rd party reservations work, but if the bf called to reserve a room under Bialek’s name, I think he could still use his credit card. 1997 was before online reservations, could have been thru his travel agent. I just wonder how long Hilton keeps these records. Should be a lengthy period of time but I’m not sure 15 years.
Also, I don’t understand how this woman, unknown to Cain, would call to make a dinner date with him to talk about getting a job. Especially since a branch of the trade association he was running had just fired her.
Years ago I was moving from once city to another. A man I knew in the destination city arranged interviews for me with his client in that city. All of it was done at the client’s offices during the day. IF she called to discuss employment opportunities, why didn’t she meet him at the NRA offices?

Frankly the double standard is that now Conservs are ready to overlook Cains Alleged behavior. Makes us all look like hypocrites. IMO
I disagree Marty. Paula Jones proved her case. Clinton committed perjury, and lied under oath.
These cases aren’t even remotely the same.
I don’t believe any of these women.l Why? Because ALL of the accusation cases were found to be BASELESS.
That vindicates Cain. Clinton still rots in his lies and Impeachment.
How do you know they are baseless? because Cain said so?
He also said there will be more coming, how does he know that?
Would the hotel even keep records that far back? I don’t know if something like that can be proved. Do the credit card companies even keep credit card records that long? If so you’d have to go through every card he may have had back then, including company cards. Considering how often he was on the road have we even established he was there when she was? Would there be any kind of record of his schedule this many years after he was there? My guess is someone made some attempt to prove her claim (bet reporters were on it like white on rice).

Cain has been around the block...he ain't gonna fall for that.
But if you have an authoritative source for her cause for separation, I would like it so I can spread it around. Word is that she was fired for false accusations of "sexy harassment"...but no source of substance has been offered (just that Macsmind blog IIRC).
Please provide update if one is available.
Jim Geraghty tried to get them and they said they would not release records for privacy reasons. If Cain was telling the truth, why would he not try to have them released?
