Georgia Checks Florida 4It sure hasn't been a good year for the Gators, now losing to Georgia, twice.

It seems the USC Trojans, a young team under a new coach just didn’t have the horses to get past the Stanford Indians, the number nine team in the nation.
The Trojans have a bye this week before they head for Union Station to board the train for South Bend, Ind., where they will entertain Notre Dame. The Domers are flying high under their new coach Frank Leahy, but maybe the Trojans can rise to the occasion.
Fight on!

Hey don’t feel so bad. The Hoosiers lost (again) to the Mildcats of Northwestern. But then again, we have much lower expectations. If the Gators coach wins five games, he’s not only getting fired, he’s probably getting death threats. Five wins as a Hoosiers coach is a guaranteed contract extension.
