horked = which means a programming malfunction. FR could have both cache misses and a programming malfunction. IF I were to guess it is most likely the cache misses.
Most people think FR is down. They aren't aware of refreshing the page 3 to 5 times.

I'm occasionally getting the "Service Temporarily Unavailable" when navigating through FR that I'm not getting with any other website(s).The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems. Please try again later. (underline added)

Due to the budgetary stress in NASA, they had to steal—er borrow a gizmo from the Robinson’s FR shack to complete the 1 ton Mars Rover and it is on the way to Mars now!
Guess we will have to do another Freeperthon Campaign to raise enough funds to buy a replacement!
Never fear! FR will rise again!

You can say that again.
Current issues:
Service unavailable. "Refreshing" helps, but not on every page.
Error message pops up when "previewing" a reply.

I spent some time this morning in a parallel universe and was having the same problem as everyone else.
If I could make a suggestion, in order to avoid the dreaded double, triple and quadruple posts, if you try to post and get the "Service Temporarily Unavailable" message, DO NOT HIT THE BACK BUTTON.
I repeat - DO NOT HIT THE BACK BUTTON!
Hit the refresh button instead and all will be well. I repeat – ALL IS WELL.
