Rosie O'Donnell has a lot to celebrate.
The TV star, 49, not only launched The Rosie Show on Oprah Winfrey's OWN network in October, but now she's preparing to say "I do" to girlfriend Michelle Rounds.
She broke the news to her audience Monday during a break set aside for commercials during the taping of her show in a Chicago studio. Her rep later confirmed it to PEOPLE.

Rosie is from the East Coast, and went to College in Boston before dropping out.
In that part of the world it is a bit of an insult to be called a "clam digghhaa" as they would pronouce it, as one of the definitions from the "Urban Dictionary" denotes:
An occupation: Any person from Massachusetts, typically, that harvests clams at low tide in the clam laden inlets. An article of clothing: Pants that are worn by those digging clams. They are cut off 6 inches below the knee and resemble "High Waters" but have no apparent cuff or taper. 1: It's low tide, let's take a ride by the inlet and see if the Clam Diggers are out. 2: Dude, why the *** are you wearing Clam Diggers? We're goin to pick up the ladies, not the beach."

I worked on the show Judging Amy.
Rosie worked for a week on an episode.
She had a cast trailer like all actors.
It’s basically a travel trailer with fold out steps that lead into the living area from the outside.
Rosie is the first and only actor I have seen that required a full fledged ramp of stairs with handrails be constructed to assist her fat arse into the trailer.
She probably would have broke the 450lb rated built in stairs.
Per Wikipedia, she married Kelli Carpenter in 2002, when San Francisco started issuing marriage licenses to gay couples. I have no idesa if this was even a legal marriage....but they adopted three kids together, and Carpenter had one through artificial insemintation.
In 2007, Carpenter was gone, and Rosie dated Tracy Kachtick-Anders, until 2011.
She just met this latest woman in September...seems Rosie can’t stay alone for long.
So, by my accounting, she’s only had one fake marriage so far.
Oh yeah, in a shocking coincidence, her brother is gay.
Should I care?

Proof we are in dire economic times.
Once Michelle has to luffa Rosie’s back and give her a Brazilian or two this will end badly.
I hope the vibrator has a short circuit on their wedding night, and turns into a taser.
