Anyone Suspicious That Maybe Some Of Corzine Missing Millions Went To Obama's Campaign?

Posted on 12/10/2011 3:00:22 PM PST by The_Obama_Gerbil

This is just a speculation, but consider how the far left&Chicago Thug Way operates. The Democrats are well known for corruption and money laundering. And here we are with Jon Corzine, best buddies with Obama&Biden. He has no explanation of a missing billion dollars. Well Hmm, anyone out there wonder if some of the "Missing Millions" are hidden in "Obama's Mattress"? For future use in the 2012 Campaign? And are they ever gonna ask Obama and/or Biden about the missing 1.2 Billion? How can Obama ever face his kool-aid fans in next years campaign rallies knowing he just as guilty as JON CORZINE !

Wouldn’t be surprising, but at the same time, nobody will ever care.

Yes . I speculated that some of the missing dough was likely funneled to Obama the day the story broke .

I doubt they would go directly from A to B. Look at Stimulus, I bet most of the big recipients are writing big checks to Obama just like the DOE loans, er grants.

Give away a trillion, raise a billion.

I was thinking exactly that the other day after Corzine’s testimony before a congressional committee.

He was being careful in his statements but really seemed to know that whatever he did, Obama will pardon him.

There have been frequent reports for months that Obama would raise over $1 billion for his re-election campaign.

Coincidence?

Actually I doubt if any of the customers money went in that direction.

Here is the best explanation I’ve heard of what happened:

1. Corzine bet big on Italian and perhaps Greek bonds that had short maturity dates, perhaps 6 months to a year. They were selling at a discount so the yields were very good.

2. The bond investments were highly leveraged since money was available at rates well below the bond yields. An almost can’t lose deal.

3. Corzine bought credit default swaps as insurance against the failure of the bonds to pay interest or return the investment on maturity. Insuring a near sure thing.

4. So what went wrong. I think the bond prices fell causing Corzine to put up additional capital to secure his highly leveraged purchases. Or sell at a loss. Not good. What to do?

5. In addition it is likely that he could not secure credit default swaps that matched his maturity dates on his highly leveraged bonds. So when the credit default swap date expired he had to renew. Nobody wanted to do that at least at a price he could afford. Double trouble. What to do?

6. Solution: Take his customers money and give it to whoever loaned him the cash to procure all of those bonds as additional security.

7. But somehow this scheme failed. To bad. So Sad.

Or something along those lines.

I hope Rush/Hannity/Stien and the rest mention this on their radio shows. Let the nation know how the real Democrats work!

Oh...come on now. Maybe corzine just can’t recall. Sort of like hillary. Didn’t she rely on that defense a lot when questioned about her various illegal activities? Apparently, such a defense works because she is the secretary of state. Pathetic...truly pathetic. All of these criminal bums need to be frog-marched to Leavenworth for a long, long stay.

What suspicion? It is a certainty and foregone conclusion.

Hey, the now failing obama regime is going to get their share, and most of everybody else’s, from Wall Street, one way or another.

PLENTY of “walking-around” money to assure the smooth operation of election fraud where it is needed, and negative campaigns when the fraud is just not enough by itself.

The entitled class may have a soft underbelly filled with lard and fecal matter, but it is all protected with seemless 24” armor plate composed of the toughest alloys known to humanity.

But even the best armor fails when subjected to thermonuclear blast.

I hope the RNC has a field day in all the swing states with their “Friends Of Obama” ads. Between Charlie Rangel and Corzine, Obama will be the Poster Boy of Chicago Thugs !!!

When I read that a lot of the money went to Soros, I immediately reasoned that a good amount of it was passed on to Obama. I predict that Obama will leave the WH as a billionaire. Obama already stated that his daughters would be fine, even if the United States doesn’t make it.

I've been wondering out of the trillions of debt, how much is financing Arab Spring.

No. Desperation is at fault

The MF’ers made trading errors and co mingled customer funds when their cash ran out. They hoped the market would come back. It didn’t but once the course was set they had to commit more and more customer cash until it was just over.

It did not happen suddenly. The process took weeks or maybe months,

The half a trillion of soylandra and other such loans are the source of campaign slush

I think also the CFTC had a rule that a commodity futures broker could invest customer funds that were not used to margin positions in the individual account in US treasury securities and the house could earn interest on those funds. Corzine and others lobbied to have the rule expanded so that the house could invest the unused funds in sovereign debt of other nations as well as US treasuries. The speculation is Corzine does not want to admit that he had the perfect storm of taking unused customer funds under the new rule and investing them in the short term sovereign debt of the PIGS just weeks before the accelerated decline of Italian and Spanish debt.
