Once again it doesn't end well for the French.

Wish I could borrow the cat to teach mine to stand up to the dog.

And the cat wasnt pissed. Its tail wasnt blown up and its bark wasnt arched. It looked like the cat wanted to goof around and the dog did a “Sir Robin” and bravely ran away.
But then again, that was a really big cat.....

Reminds me of a big bob-tailed cat we have. He is easy going and causes no trouble but our dogs don’t push for any kind of encounter with him.

True. Good to know other folks pay attention to animal body language.

Our three cats came running in to see what the hey. Our Big Bob was ready for action - fur on end, bob-tail twitching, and ears layed back.

The signature block says it all.

hey, I have had a lot of cats, so reading body language of cat was learnt at a early age. A lot of trail and error and more that enough bandaids and peroxcide.
cats tail bushy....not a good time to pet it unless you want to draw back a stump. That was a lesson learnt the hard way.
Now, if only I could learn womens body language.....it must be the same as a cat, minus the bushy tail thing.

More French than bulldog, I’m thinking.

Looks like it to me, as well! LOL!

Igor (late husband) said, “I hate the French so bad I won’t even drive a Chevrolet!”

:o]

Of course, his experiences with them were not so good in WWII and VN...

Are you snowed in, yet?

It’s cold and rainy here, and as soon as I figure out how to transfer the pics from my phone to the PC, I’ll post a photo of The Stig....a parakeet rescue (where I get most of my critters...)

He doesn’t like cloudy, wet days!
