Gingrich's thin skin has pushed him out of the race

Newt has the right to fight back against his competitors, I have no problem with that. However when he starts by sounding like Obama and using the class warfare card on Romney's wealth, it is just plain stupid. Now his latest quip about taxing the blind, and scraping the bottom of the barrell is just more over the top whining. I really think Newt is probably the smartest and best informed candidate. However, his achilles heal has always been his ego, and the inability to handle rejection or negativity (a major part of politics) in a grown up fashion. It goes back to his complaining of having to get off the back of the plane with Clinton and has reappeared in this campaign. I can not longer think of him as a viable candidate.

Romney raised taxes on the blind.

He really did.

Do you understand how underhanded and pitiful that is.

Well...if it ain’t Newt, then it’s the liberal Democrat Romney.

Darned if I will vote for him.

"It goes back to his complaining of having to get off the back of the plane with Clinton and has reappeared in this campaign."

You might want to do a little more research on that story....sheesh

It’ll be interesting to see how Gingrich addresses his complaints against Romney and Paul tonight, if he elects to do that to any extent. Some think he’ll seek retribution in a big way, but direct confrontation in previous debates hasn’t worked too well for those who tried it.

Most voters don’t seem to like the heated and contentious exchanges.

Who do you support? Maybe you could post some positive things about your candidate, instead of tearing other people down... just a thought.

I really don't understand this latest fad I see some participating in, which is defending Mitt when Newt criticizes him.

And to bring up the the 16 year-old back-of-the-plane propaganda about Newt....

Unbelievable.

Really.

The charge was wrong, but it was one hell of a lot less than I pay for my hunting license and my drivers license, and a thousand other little charges I pay the government every year and I live in Va, where we are taxed for air.

Yes I can see why the Thurston Howell wing of the Republican Party would be upset with Newt. You might muss yourself if you attack your opponents directly. It’s much better form to have the help do it for you.

Was yesterday’s attack on Santorum’s comments on Social Security also a Mitt Romney smear?

Nothing implied in that question, I just would like to know.

Your complaint sounds like you have thinner skin than Newt.

Ironic, that.

I'm afraid you're right. I would enthusiastically support Newt if I knew we were getting the mid 90s pre-Bimbo eruption Newt.

But he has a personality disorder much like Bill Clinton and they go hand-in-hand:

Don't let Rove's less-than-subtle digs at Gingrich persuade you.

The Romney-McCain images of this week are far more compelling indicators of what a Romney/Obama contest might be like.

Wait for the ass-whooping Newts going to slam Romney with tonight.

He’s been holding his cards for this moment and will play them at the debate.

It’s a do-or-die moment, and Newt hasn’t progressed this far to be turned away by Mittens.
