Mitt got laughed at last night! I cannot find what self-deportation could mean? Starving them out? Keeping a bad economy? What?
So long as American employers have an economic incentive to hire illegal labor - it will be as if an “invisible hand” provides them.
All the effort on the border, or in deporting (catch and release) is idiotic - it will not stem the flow.
When you cut off the jobs that they came here for - they will go home.
Most illegals come here to work and repatriate money back home - without the work they have no money so they have to go home.
That is “self-deportation” and it is much better.
People say “there is no way we are going to deport X million people” and I point out that they didn’t need a government program or bus to GET HERE and they won’t need one to leave.
All they need to be encouraged to leave is to be denied what they came here for. Jobs.
People sometimes say “how can we deport 20 million people?”. Well, they got here somehow, didn’t they? And they probably have more money now than when they showed up...
So, the answer is:
1. Make it extremely difficult for someone to work illegally in the US.
2. Cut off any social services for non-citizens.
3. The illegals will go back to the countries where they legally reside.
How, pray tell, will these people prove they have been here 25 years? How about the heartlessness of the guy here 20 years, has grandchildren that are citizens, and is working? The only solution, is no birth citizenship for children of illegals. No social spending other than schooling. That includes, no health care unless they can pay cash in a hospital. If the hospital wants to treat them, they can. They just don’t get reimbursed from the public purse. That of course would include education. If a local school board wants to use public funds for them, they are free to do so. If they don’t want to, they are also immune from prosecution. Mainly because the federal govt has no role in education.
He can take his chilluns’ with him. We don’t stop that now; why would we begin doing that.
You know those millions of Mexicans, for example, who are here illegally? Well, they used to live in Mexico. Then they self-deported.
A new report shows that between 2002 and 2010, Arizona’s crime rate dropped twice as much as the crime did around the country.
Not one reporter or state official was brave enough to mention the reduction of illegal aliens or Sheriff Arpaio. It’s just crazy here.
