As you know, he was (and they are) communicating with someone/something...but it ain’t God. We have been warned about such stuff over and over again.
I’ve read this book and a few of his other works. He’s good and the fact that they excommunicated him for speaking the truth says volumes about them.
Help from their ‘spirit brother’ Lucifer shouldn’t be discounted.

Mormon is a secret society. As in Freemasonry, more is imparaated to a member as he/she climbs the ladder. Most of them do not know that their God is Lucifer, as in Freemasonry. But Mitt is at the top of the ladder so Mitt knows......what evil lurks in the hearats of men....and accepts Lucifer!
As a child I think I saw a cartoon version of Smith's using his magical tools like his 'vision hat' to communicate with the Mormon's Almighty God of this universe.. Oh yes, I found it:

I remember the night I pinged you to Sandy's the 'Brave Mormon women' victim sympathy thread that before you came around she pinged me twice with two snarky remarks because I pinged you. By doing that she made my next few days activity on that thread with you and a few other LDS ‘opponents’ much more fun(has happened with other cult threads before.)_.
When I see(read) Mormon's like her that are so ‘pro-Romney candidacy’. I can only conclude that they want a LDSer in the WH to simply generate LDS legitimacy/acceptance, like the purpose of open gays in the military.
