It's time to resolve the problem at the top and quit picking on the kids, in hopes some vague message trickles up.
Are you among those upset with the Girl Scout promotion of Planned Parenthood and boys joining Girl Scout because parents nurture the confusion of a 7 year old?
There's been a recent campaign on the internet, to show those Girl Scouts just how upset we are by boycotting the annual drive to raise money for the Girl Scouts, buy refusing to buy their cookies.
After all, 90% of the proceeds go to the upper strata of Girl Scout Management. So, after all the brave posting, promoting the boycott, how many of you have actually been able to look into the eyes of those young Girl Scouts and turn them away?
Or maybe you're really committed and you've explained to them that they have corrupt adult management......?
We need a national campaign to replace Girl Scout management and policies. It's time to overcome the bullying of the ACLU and the anti-American, anti-Christian culture, seeking to destroy all that is right with America.

I won’t buy their cookies anymore.
I’m not too vocal about since, generally, people are not informed enough to understand there is a problem.

Yeah ... leave it. We pulled our girls out and signed them up with American Heritage Girls. It was perfect timing as our church had just started a new group. It is a Christian organization ... no PP involvement whatsoever.

They are beyond hope. Twenty years they took "God" out of the promise, or rather allowed anyone to substitute whatever they want in place of God. A rock Star. A rock. Doesn't matter.
Just stop buying cookies, and don't support them. It is a business and a political organization right now.
Girl Scouts give the girls so many opportunities and experiences that they would not otherwise have. Cookie sales, magazine sales and dues are the only money they have to work with. Even something as basic as the cookie sale teaches the girls that you get rewarded for hard work. Much of that money goes into service projects (gifts/treats/visits to less fortunate). The leaders, chaperones, etc. are all volunteers. They invest many hours in teaching these girls.
Trying to punish the organization by withholding from the individual girls is not sending a positive message to these girls and Girl Scouts is for the girls.
When I was a child, the Girl Scouts met in my church and were a positive experience for any girl involved. When my daughter was in a troop about ten years ago from the materials being distributed from the national level, I felt something wasn’t right. Since then I have found that the organization has been hopelessly corrupted. It is like days old milk, sour and unusable. The Girl Scouts are beyond saving. If you love your daughter, don’t let her join.
Dollar General sells a generic “thin mint” version (Clover Valley), that is at least as good, for MUCH less (less than two bucks a box). They also sell the other GS cookies, Peanut Butter Fudge, etc. I believe the other dollar stores sell similar items, I cant vouch for those, but the Dollar General cookies are EXCELLENT!

You can make a donation to the troop that you want to support specifically, without buying the darn cookies.
You could ask them if they have a specific need that they want funds for and help them in reaching that goal. If they were going to buy something that their troop was going to use, you could help them in purchasing that item. Or you could help fund a project or an outing that that troop was working towards.
Sorry to let you know....once the cancer of Political Correctness enters into the soul of a business, organization or any group, the patent will soon become covered with pestilence and soon will be beyond saving.
Most of what is done at the troop level is at the leader's discretion. They are not required to follow a specific guideline. Guidelines are provided but the leader can pick and choose what she wants to use. Being under the umbrella of Girls Scouts provides insurance which is a big deal when you are working with/traveling with children.
A cash donation could be made directly to the girls, in lieu of a cookie purchase, on the condition that the entire amount be kept and used locally by that troop.
Though most girls would not be immediately equipped to understand the ethical basis of this action, it would raise awareness and eventually questions among the girls.
Girls and their mothers have epiphanies, too.
Think of the fundamentals, then the strategy comes of its own.
Remove the “Lesbian communists” in charge of those girl scouts, which might as well be butch transvestite rapists hiding behind the “vagina perception”.
Making little girls grow too quickly in those “Girlscouts to madrassas for communist female pedophiles” is the most disgusting thing yet.
They ALL HIDE that it is not about “freedom of choice”, but about death, no choice, inquisition on your religion and why you are keepting that kid and not getting rid of it, tyranny and, worst of all, hypocriticaly harping about the right over one’s own body when it is about abusing the body and abusing powers.
This is all about the police state and the lawyer guilt psycho sister duo to abuse powers and swarm in death resignation incompetence so that the barbarians may overrun us and that they may keep their petrie dish of evilness going, on the one hand, and the cyber corrupting technology to send robots to peer behind our walls for continuous enforcement of evil ideologies.

OK, so don't buy cookies and donate something exclusively to the local troop. Only about 10% of proceeds go to the local troop.
Perhaps the best thing would be for conservative locals to declare independence. Stop supporting the regional council with cookie sales. Organize your own outings with like-minded locals without involving the upper council. Starve the beast.

If there ever was a liberal oxymoron, it is the allowing of killing of children at the girl scouts in the name of keeping a children business going. It’s the reverse child shield issue faced by soldiers when confronting terrorists using hostages.
