I don't know the source of this pic.
What a beautiful image of a loving, compassionate man who truly loves this country AND our troops!
I am proud that he is a fellow Texan! *sniff*
I couldn’t tell for sure. My guess is a male. Do you or anyone know what branch of the military they are?
I’ve thought that same thing... My father died in 2003 and I don’t think he would even recognize this country if he could come back today. My mother is in a nursing home and unaware of what’s going on. 2003 is not that long ago... But I think my father would not recognize the United States today.
I found it at this dot gov link but not sure if this is the original source: http://georgewbush-whitehouse.archives.gov/news/releases/2004/10/images/20041028_7-p43159-275jpg-515h.html
I would say Army. It looks like a 82nd Airborne patch.
I am an American Soldier...defender of freedom against tyranny
and when I enter the valley of death
and the angel of Satan appears at my shoulder
I will be resolute and fear no evil
And my Lord in heaven will guide my sword.

Indeed, it’s very lovely photo. Definitely a keeper. It irks me to no end how so many people have been manipulated by the media and libs into thinking that President Bush is a horrible man who committed war crimes.
The media and the anti-American libs are a cancer to our society!
Thanks for the ping LUV! :)
President Bush hugs a soldier during a stop at Bangor International Airport, Bangor, Maine, Sept. 23, 2004. Boarding their plane, the President met with members of 30th National Guard Brigade Combat Team, 230th National Guard Area Support Group, and 414th Army Transport Battalion. The troops stopped to refuel during along their way to Iraq.
