We have them all over out house outside. Would be inside too, but the cats object to that.

Both the green day geckos and the dark night guys do just fine on vertical surfaces and the ceiling. Only one we found with a problem is a baby we are raising that appears to have hatched prematurely and is not fully developed.

What do they mean these guys 'discovered' how it worked? Maybe they made the glue, but we have known for a long time how the gecko does it... its the 'hairs' on the feet being so small and so plentiful that subatomic Van der Waals forces come into play to hold the gecko to any surface it climbs on.

I guess just another example of 'journalism' now a days...

Since it's original technology proprietary to geckoes, perhaps proceeds from the applications should go to preserving gecko habitat.

Or maybe we can pay them off with a few million nice juicy flies ;^)

We're also going to try to replace some of our older servers and failing equipment this year so we're going to add a little extra to our FReepathon goals. John is estimating ten to fifteen thousand to do this and I'd like to get it all in place and working before the election cycle is fully heated up, so we'll try to bring in a little more now if we can and the rest next quarter.
