Natasha Ozimek was 16, and two days away from sitting her physics AS-level, when her father John told her he was planning to change sex; a process known as transitioning. "It was awful when I found out. My throat was doing a wobbly and then I just burst into tears.
Dad was trying to hug me and I was having none of it. I think I blanked out in shock a little bit, and spent that night in the conservatory in my pyjamas until four in the morning, just crying," recalls Natasha, now 18. "It's the last thing you expect your dad to do – the one male figure in your life."
Gradually, people in their small town of Deeping St James, Lincolnshire, got to hear the news. "I didn't talk to any of my friends at school for about three weeks," says Tash, as she is known. "Then my best friend, Nina, came up to me and said she knew. Dad had contacted her mum to say, 'I think Tash is having a bit of a hard time because of this …'
And then Nina and I told other people together. It was a bit like us against the world; we weren't going to be ashamed or frightened.

Recently filled out a firearm ID form. The sex choices were male / female / both.
Even this man’s parenting is disgusting beyond words. Instead of waiting until his daughter was out of the house and in college, so that she had a stable family for her entire childhood, he dropped this on her two days before an extremely important exam, at his convenience and at one of the worst times he could have announced his selfishness, rather than even considering what would be best for her. I feel the same way about those who divorce out of boredom before their kids are grown. Divorcing for abuse or adultery is different, but to put your own children through the trauma of a divorce (or through this, which the daughter’s comments demonstrate was even more traumatic for a child) simply for personal gratification is selfish.
This reminds me of Gene Robinson, who left his wife and two pre-teen daughters so that he could find a new (gay) romantic partner. Ignoring the moral and spiritual side of homosexuality, even though scripture is completely clear on that topic, to abandon a child for personal sexual gratification is revolting. Somehow, people like this are heroes to the far left fringe. To me, they are the lowest of scum, and I’d say the same thing if Gene Robinson had abandoned his daughters to go find a new girlfriend instead of a boyfriend or if John Ozimek had dumped any other emotionally shocking personal choice on his daughter at that time of her life. Making your teenage daughter cry until 4 am because you’re a selfish loser is reprehensible, and I’m appalled that this guy doesn’t even seem to realize how low that was.
It is becoming apparent to me that the luxury and comfort of civilization provide the fertile soil needed for utter and total insanity.
I think mankind may be a lost cause.

You got it right: SELFISH people who care far too much about themselves and NOT AT ALL for the effect on their children...and later grandchildren.
I hope there is a special place in hell purgatory for these selfish assholes people.
