And secondly, dynasties are a Chicom thing.

Or a Kennedy thing. But even that seems to have abated, depending on the outcome of the election for Barney Frank's district.

In other circumstances, I could live with Jeb Bush as a candidate. He’s far from perfect, but I could live with him - in other circumstances. The problem with a Jeb Bush candidacy is three-fold, as I see it:

1) It’s too late in the game. The election is just over 9 months away. To dump the guys who’ve been fighting it out for over a year and draft some newly anointed political savior at this state would be widely seen as an act of panic (which it would be).

2) Bush isn’t a real popular name in politics right now. Conservatives hate and fear (rightly so) political dynasties, and the Democrats would have a field day linking Jeb with Dubya, who still resonates negatively with a lot of voters, fairly or not.

3) Jeb probably has other priorities. Beating Obama in 2012 is anything but a sure bet, I’m sorry to say. 2016 will be wide open if Obama does win (Biden will be too old and he’s unlikely to be a serious candidate anyway). If a Republican beats Obama in 2012, Jeb would probably be on the short list for some choice positions in the new administration. Either way, his future prospects are likely brighter than a last-minute jump into the 2012 fight.

Sorry, but the writer lost me with, “Ron Paul is the best choice for America and its citizens . . “

But would I vote for Jeb Bush? In a heartbeat.

Anyone that does not have enough sense to come up with an original name for their site is a low IQ idiot. And they deserve no respect. It is called stealing.

I will never vote for another Bush, I’ll stay home and don’t give a crap if Obama gets a 2nd term, if they’re going to setup Jeb as the guy, then I stay home, period.

What is your proof that www.pravda.ru is a “fake” website? Looks a bit tabloid-ish to me, but otherwise legit (at least as much so as anything with a CBS, NBC, ABC or CNN url).

v Pravde net izvestiy, v Izvestiyakh net pravdy.

Based out of Moscow, the online Pravda has been around since 1999, but is unaffiliated with the now defunct Soviet newspaper of the same name.

It was discussed here a long time back, has nothing to-do with the real Pravda, just some idiot trying to steal their name.

Anyone who claims to believe another Bush could get elected to the White House is delusional or pimping for the democrats.

What, we can't find anyone to nominate named Adams or Roosevelt for a no. III? How about Bourbon or Saxe-Coburg (oops, I meant Windsor)?

No dynasties, please.

I’ll stay home and don’t give a crap if Obama gets a 2nd term

The reason Obama got a first term is too many people felt the same way about voting for McCain.

Now we have obamacare, the worst economy since the Great Depression, several trillion dollars in additional debt, and a whole slew of left wing judges that will be legislating from the bench for the next 30 years.

We can't survive a 2nd Obama term.

I don't like Jeb Bush or any of the remaining candidates for the Republican nomination, but I will crawl through broken glass to vote for any one of them over Obama.

Rick Perry never had a chance, for a similar reason.

What does Perry have to do with the Bush family?

As long as you’ll vote against Obama, no matter who gets the nomination, we’re in agreement.
