I noticed that Drudge is doing his best to continuously paint Santorum as a religious nut. Over and over if you notice Drudge's headlines will show over and over what other people say, mistakes other people make and he purposely highlights any comment made even if remotely connected, that Santorum makes or has made even in a Church.
Why does Drudge want Romney so bad he is really pissing me off. Here is a site that I used to love and found this site through it long ago. It is like he and Coulter just lost their minds or were paid off by Romney.
That is how Romney got the governor or South Carolina even though the state chose Gingrich.
Now Santorum is the big threat so a pattern is easily seen if you use Drudge daily. He tries to only show slightly negatives towards Romney, and even those are light negatives now that would make you laugh.
Gingrich he let up on as he is no longer a threat (at the moment) to Romney.
So now the threat is Santorum and Drudge is doing his best to use the MSM biased media to attack Santorum.
I am getting sick of Drudge more and more and now looking for an alternative news source , to what Drudge used to be which is an alternative collection of news.
I get this horrible feeling deep down that all of the NWO people are right. it is like we have to get Romney in or else the Federal Reserve will be upset. Or Coulter will have another fit like the recent one on o'Reilly that would make any conservative laugh. That's how erratic she was when Gingrich looked to take Florida.
Well Drudge and the MSM did a number on Gingrich. Even the impossible, made him look like an insider shill.
Now - Santorum is some loon right wing nut but every interview I see on him shows the reverse.
I'm getting scared. Really thinking we are already in a dictatorship and being played and Romney will be the nominee and Soros is right, there is no difference between he and Obama. Which leads me back to the bankers and the Federal Reserve.
Can Paul be right on it all?
if Paul wasn't such an isolationist on the foreign scene he might be president even now. But think of this - when Paul was about to win Iowa anyone else notice how all radio stations and websites, including Drudge then like a chorus called him some racist due to some other person who wrote articles on some pamphlets years ago?
Something is very fishy and as a news junkie who watches all, something scary is going on and I do not like it. Anyone with me on this - only those who watch closely see the chorus, the MSM chorus I call it but it is really an establishment chorus that does not want Gingrich or Santorum in.
Hmmmm.
Do you really think G_d's gonna apologize for Sodom and G?
Incorrect.
Rick handled the aspirin joke perfectly. As did his backer.
Check the national polls SINCE then.
What gave you the idea that Drudge was conservative or, for that matter, Republican?
Just checked, FR is indeed linked.
I've been sending Matt plenty of "tips" lately, hope everyone has.
I’ve not looked at the Frudge packer since he cooperated in Romney’s sleaze attacks on Gingrich.
He’s dead to me.
“I never went back on his site after he had the attacks on Newt.”
Same here. I don’t know why anyone would expect anything else from Drudge after his attacks on Newt. Now it will be funny to see what Rush’s response will be after his man Rick is now being attacked by Drudge. Rush stuck up for Drudge while Newt was being attacked. GO NEWT GO!
Drudge to my knowledge is not a Republican nor a conservative. He’s a muckraker.
Well, actually, it is HOW he reports it. He's doing the same thing to Santorum that he did to Gingrich earlier. Consider the photos. He uses photos that will make them look unattractive to most viewers. In this case, Santorum apparently ranting from an altar, as if he belonged to the Inquisition or something. He did the same kind of thing to Newt.
Second, this news is FOUR YEARS OLD, but the way Drudge posts it, it sounds as if Rick just said it today. It is posted like breaking news. An honest post from Drudge would be to the effect that the Lamestream News is attacking Rick for something he said four years ago, and trying to make him look like a religious fanatic.
The media outright lied about Santorum saying that Obama was not a Christian. And Drudge repeated that lie, although I'm sure he knew what the actual story was.
Same thing with Newt. And when it was proved that the media were lying about Newt, Drudge ignored it, although one of his big things has been exposing the MSM.
This is not typical Drudge. I've never seen him go out on a limb like this so far before--unless maybe it was that story the media did about G.W. Bush getting high on drugs and dancing on top of the bar, trying to push McCain ahead of Bush in the 2000 primary.
Yes, I agree and don’t think he was ever a republican or conservative.
Drudge has always been a journalist in the modern sense of the word and happened to get lucky that nobody else wanted to print the Monica story.
I neveer went on Drudge very often and now I will never go on his site.
I think it might have been that stupid fedora hat he wears.
People who wear bow ties make me uncomfortable, too.
I recently removed the Drudge Report from my homepage. (sad) I depended on it for years.
Um, you can still vote for whom you wish. I don't think dictatorships allow that. Drudge is definitely pushing Romney. Fine. Don't click on him if that bothers you.
Don't horribleize it, either.
Huh? Where did Rick say anything about exorcism?
Doesn’t “RINO”—Republican in Name Only— assume that all Republicans are conservative?
Haven’t we learned by now that we’re a minority in a minority party? Isn’t that the essense of our discontent?
The “RINO” nonsense is meaningless.
I gave him a tip: "SATAN is after your ASS".
He needs hundreds of thousands of tips eh!
DO IT FOR JEBUS!
It’s a misuse of RINO
Rick Santorum has his own problems. His voting record is basically indiscriminate from a liberal. He is going to have a hard time explaining why he voted for TARP, approved Sotomyer, against right to work states, and supported Planned Parenthood. Rick Santorium is no conservative.
Rick Santorum (who lost his seat after the 2006) did not vote for TARP (which was voted on in 2008).
*2006 election
