A YouTube video of a white comedian who painted his face black and quizzed Brigham Young University students about Black History Month has brought some unwanted attention to the Mormon-run school. Observers have called some student responses ignorant while others criticized the comedian's use of the 19th century theater technique considered racially offensive by black people.

He doesn’t understand how offensive it is.”

Frankly Scarlett there is way to much “being offended” going on here.

I’m offended, NOT, by the congressional black caucus, just as others might really be offended by a congressional white caucus.

Every living black who can trace their history back to black Africa, ought to thank God they live in this country and be willing to proclaim themselves American. Any other thought isn’t IMHO based in reality. You want to live in the past and flagellate others for perceived wrongs have at it, but it sure won’t be a productive effort.

Let's see, it is offensive for white people to paint their faces black, but perfectly ok for black actors, such as Eddie Murphy, to paint their faces white(actually much more than paint)in movies. Wasn't their also a movie called "White Girls" in which two black males portrayed them selves as two white girls? Nothing offensive about that though.

Kinda tired of everything being on a one way street.

The Wayans brothers did that movie. From what little “outrage” I could find was from the hollywierd types. Well they were gettin back at the white folk for performing in black face all those years before that.
Where’s “Rage Boy” when you need him.?
