Happy Pi day, FreeRepublic! Today is March 14, or 3/14, which contain the three most significant digits in the number.
It is also Albert Einsteins's birthday, so stop by and wish him many more!

I learned this morning that it’s also “Steak and [removed by moderator] Day”. I work with some interesting folks.

That’s a circular argument.

For lunch I ran out and bought a couple pies to share in the break room, accompanied by a sheet of paper with ~30,000 digits of pi and “Happy pi day!” on it.
My 3-year-old (prompted by Mommy) wished me “happy pi day!” this morning. Explaining pi to a 3-year-old is not effective.

Explaining pi to a 3-year-old is not effective.Explaining pi to some adults isn't effective. At least the 3 year old has an excuse.
