#3 Baylor has all high seeds in its bracket until it meets KY in the Elite 8. 3 Cinderellas.

Ohio vs. South Florida is a double-cinderella, giving #1 NC an easier path to the final 8.

Theoretically.

in CIN wins tonite, there will be 4 OHIO teams in the Sw 16.
OH State vs. CIN would be the only matchup until the final 4.

There are 4 BIG TEN teams in the sweet 16.
The OH State vs. WISC game in the elite eight would be the only possible matchup until the final 4.

States with 2 teams:
WIS
KY
NC
FL maybe.

NC vs NC State in the elite eight is the only possible matchup until the final 4.

Four Ohio teams in the sweet 16. First time ever for one state to have four teams there. Too bad only three can go on to the next round because of the Buckeyes vs. Bearcats game this week.

Conferences with multiple teams

4 from Big 10
4 from Big East
2 From ACC
2 from SEC
2 from Big 12

Big East matchups could be Cin vs Syr and Marq vs Louisville in the Elite 8.
Only other inter-conf possible matchup before final 4 is the NC vs. NC state and OH ST vs Wisc in the Elite 8.

we obviously could have an all OH final.
The only other state possible ... an all-WIS final (WIS vs MARQ).

we obviously could have an all Big TEN final or an all Big East final.
Only other conf possible ... an all Big 12 final (KS vs Baylor).

My only chance left to win my group bracket is for Syracuse to find a really tough defense within themselves. Ohio has performed most impressively. The state is represented very well.

we obviously could have an all OH final.

Unfortunately Ohio St. plays Cincinnati this round, so only three can move on.

Big Ten Roooools.

I saw the last third of the MSU/St Louis game — perfectly matched, and MSU won, so happy ending. :’)
