I will not do it!

Posted on 03/29/2012 5:02:14 PM PDT by TexasSecede79366

But Rubio — a prominent Latino lawmaker with roots in the tea-party movement — offers Romney cover with conservatives who have been hesitant to support him.

Screw you Rubio! I will not now or ever again hold my nose and vote for another liberal Republican.

I agree that Romney should not be the nominee, but the fight is over who is the nominee at this point, not whom you would vote for in the election.

I will never vote for Romney for a couple reasons:

1. Soon, the SHTF scenarios are likely to occur, and it is to the advantage of the socialists that they not be in power when it does, so that they can blame the Republicans. If it is to be, then let Obama own it.

2. If we want all of our votes, Conservative and liberal Republicans alike, it would be nice to once in a while have a conservative candidate. Every election I hear that we need to just this once beat the other guy, then build a stronger Conservative base for next time. But it never happens. The GOP/e do everything in their power to stop the people from voting, including holding open elections to allow the libs to cross over, knowing it will help the GOP/e candidate. If this were not intentional, we would have seen a change after all of the history of this happening.

3. In my state, we are going to go Obama anyway, so I can cast my vote for anyone and it will not affect the outcome. My vote is for a write in candidate if Romney is on the ballot.

4. I will not ever vote for someone who does not hold my beliefs. Romney has not been truthful at all, and thus fails my first test.

5. With Congress unwilling to challenge the egregious actions of this Communist President, including is unlawful usurpation of power and and is support of unconstitutional legislation and executive orders, then there is no check and balance in the system any more, and we are in truth and in fact living in a dictatorship by another name.

6. We cannot even get laws passed to prove a voter has the right to vote. Neither party is even complaining. We have race baiting riots on our horizon and we do nothing against the New Black Panther Party to arrest them for inciting violence against the innocent. We do not control our own borders and neither party is interested in doing so. We do not control the drug trade. We allow socialist agendas to dominate our schools, our social institutions, our coffee table talk and our medicine.

Just what is Romney’s plan to change any part of this repeated, unrelenting assault on our freedoms? By my reckoning, he is in lock-step with Obama on most major issues of the day, and is only being shoved down our throats as a candidate to make it appear that we have a choice.

I want a candidate who stands for something different.

I will not submit.

I will not be goaded into voting for a false choice. The fault is the people who have not yet risen up to fight the corruption endemic in out political world, and indeed all of our lives.

That was the best reason for me to want to see Sarah Palin, because she would at least try to fight the bastards.

It is much simpler than that. Do you know any politician running for major office that really cares about anything but themselves? Really, it takes a special kind of person to run for major office and the attributes required are not good. It is all about power and control - both parties.

Now in the past, there were folks that ran to better the situation but these days, the money involved makes that impossible.

If you refuse to vote for the eventual candidate, then you join the tens of millions of idiots who brought the Kenyan to Washington in 2008.

That's pure bullcrap and kool-aid you're trying to get people to drink..... nobody can blame any Republican should Obam win another 4..... They have 'the right' and 'freedom' to vote their conscious to who they select.....we are all voters not hostages tied to follow the Romney crowd.

You blame the GOP-Elites who KNEW that Romney was a FATAL DISQUALIFICATION for the nomination in the first place? Heck even the Democrates knew that and why they support him.

It's guys like you that are trying to hang the future of the country on those who WILL NOT STAY ON THE RESERVATION WHEN THEY WEREN'T THE ONES WHO LEFT IN THE FIRST PLACE!!!

Nope, if you get Obama....Do Not Blame Me.....You can blame the Cardinals in the GOP college that sent the white smoke up the chimney on this fraud from before the first primary..... Romney was a presumption. .....You are trying to perpetrate that presumption

Gingrich and Santorum should pull every free-thinking, liberty-cherishing conservative left in the party... and when they go to broker the convention, .......they can be a ticket and send Romney back to the People’s Republic of Massachusetts.

The Demorats created this in the first place during Rubin/Clinton - LET THEM OWN IT!.... if Romney gets the nod, Obama wins by default... And that’s it. That’s the election.

So please, peddle the ‘Obama is going to be your fault’ among McConnell, Cantor, and the rest of the college of Cardinals that picked that charlatan in the first place......I’m not buying it, and neither should any sentient being still left in the conservative caucus.

In my case... in over 40 years of republican activism and donating about 100k to the cause... I am personally tired of being manipulated and lied to and screwed over by the gop/e. I warned them back in 2008... millions of us warned them in 2008 and back... Reagan warned them in 1975... and yet they do not listen.

Well I will not support someone like mitt romney and if the republicans nominate him obama is going to go Hannibal Lecter on romney and there is not a thing that anyone can do about it... because every word of the attacks will have evidence and a history to back them up.

After this election... I work with Patriots to seize the gop and return to republicanism or I help a new party rise and destroy the gop..... Either way... business as usual is over for the hard right.

That just needs another post....and thank you!

Your the one helping to get Obama re-elected...You love yourself more than your country...Just...plain...pitiful. PS I’ve been called worse here over the last eight years

You haven't been called nearly close to what I'm thinking but will refrain from for that statement you mouthed off to Texas.

Are you forgetting the country in which we live grants every 'voter' the right to vote his conscious?..and HE is accountable to God for that choice? Knowing that whatever a candidate does thereafter we are signing onto? We all have that right, and may I add privilege which men and woman died for.

The only blame sits on the lap of the GOP Elites entirely and fully, and without question, for the lineup they gave us in the first place knowing full well that Romney was both the Republican and Democrat Elites sweetheart. He lost to McCain...how the heck people even begin to imagine he will win against Obama is mind boggling. He won't, and he doesn't have a chance.

Our fight has been for the party more than anything else...and they still remain headstrong to stick it to us.

So quite telling folks they cannot choose their candidate......that is their vote... and when you stomp on anyone who isn't getting on the Romney bandwagon you are stomping on every mans and woman's grave who gave them that right to vote according to their conscious.

vote for third party, and bamey is elected....

Vote for Romney and bamey is elected as well....to think otherwise is insanity. The machine that will be taking Romney down will be as he never anticpated...Chicago thugs will seem like boyscouts by comparison.

Exactly ....It's amusing to think people are fighting battles only....those days are well past and it's been war for sometime now....hot and heavy.

I thought when they took out Newt with such fierce fire, and learning it wasn't just romney's tools, but Obama's and the Republican Elites as well....there was just no denying this "fleet" was after more than taking a candidate out...they not only have the Congress on "hold"....they're taking over.

Everyone says it’s over. But we don’t have to cower and give in!!

1. Fight Romney. Vote fr Santorum in every state. No newt. Just try to get Santorum over 50% to possible beat Romney or stop him from getting delegates.

2. Let it be known all over the Internet, etc, that we don’t want Romney! He cannot beat Obama without us. Make him steer farther to the right. So far that his etch-a-sketch won’t fully shake the conservative out! Lol!

Wrong again.

What he meant was he won't vote for a lying left-wing, Progressive Liberal like Romney because his record is so similiar to Obamas

He'll have two choices in November, Obama or the Republican. If Romney is the nominee and he said he's not voting for him, then he's staying home, RIGHT?

Vote your conscience in the primaries. Vote for your country in the general election.

That is what I have said, and what I have personally always done. Punishing our nation because my candidate didn’t win never was an option for me though.

Four years ago, there was some question how bad Obama would be. Not anymore. Anyone is preferable to him to lead this country. Even if we take the Senate, we won’t have enough votes to override his vetoes, and he will continue to ruin us through the bureaucracies and EOs. His foreign policies are a nightmare that could lead to millions of deaths....literally.

He cannot be allowed re-election.

Call me what you want, but that is the TRUTH.

I would not bet against DJ, he has been 100% correct on everything he has posted! He knows more about politics than any other person I've ever met.

As far as Mittens I did my duty and voted Rick in the IL Primary, the good news is the delegate for Rick is the man who will be on the GOP Ticket running in my Congressional District against a "Blue Dog Rat, Lipinski".

And from what Impy and BillyBoy have told me Richard Grabowski is a sincere conservative candidate. So that was one positive thing to occur last Tuesday!!!
