I doubt it. This will backfire on the left worse than ‘Fluke’ did.

This is just Fluke II, Deeper and Dirtier. After the first one bombed, they had to come up with something else to accomplish what didn't work in Fluke I as well as something to draw attention away from how badly they got skunked the first time around. I hope someone is able to do a Tweet history of this and show who it was who located the story after searching for something to use in this manner and then started the ball rolling (via a Journolist 2?).

If this guy was even 1% guilty, with all this pressure from the White House, NAACP, DOJ, UN, NBP, media, etc, he’d be in jail right now.

-- I read a quote from a friend of Zimmerman that Trayvon said to him "Yo gonna die tonight "MF"" as he was beating him. --

As he was attempting to disarm him. Zimmermans firearm was revealed late in the fight, and Z says TM tried to obtain possession and control of it.

ROBERT ZIMMERMAN, GEORGE ZIMMERMAN'S FATHER: After nearly a minute of being beaten, George was trying to get his head off the concrete, trying to move with Trayvon on him, into the grass. In doing so, his firearm was shown.

Trayvon Martin said something to the effect of "You're going to die now or you're going to die tonight," something to that effect. He continued to beat George and at some point, George pulled his pistol and did what he did.

CNN Newsroom - March 29, 2012
ROBERT ZIMMERMAN, JR., GEORGE ZIMMERMAN'S BROTHER: Well, and -- you know, I take a -- I take a pause to that whole, you know, conjecture, again, of pulled out a gun and shot him. That's absolutely not fact.

(CROSSTALK)

MORGAN: That's not what happened, then?

ZIMMERMAN: No, it is not what happened.

MORGAN: But he did pull out a gun and shoot him, right?

ZIMMERMAN: Well, he stopped someone from disarming him and shooting him. He didn't pull out a gun and shoot him. George showed tremendous restraint --

MORGAN: But he had the gun on him, right?

ZIMMERMAN: He had a permit to carry that gun --

MORGAN: Where was the gun?

ZIMMERMAN: The gun, I believe, was in his -- inside -- tucked inside his pant waist --

MORGAN: Right.

ZIMMERMAN: In a waist holster.

MORGAN: So he has pulled it out and he has fired it?

ZIMMERMAN: Well, he has taken control of his firearm, he prevented his firearm from being taken from him and used against him. And that's called saving your life.

MORGAN: Right. So you believe, as a family -- is this what George told you the next day? That Trayvon was trying to grab his gun to use against him?

ZIMMERMAN: My father also is on record yesterday night saying that. And again, what Trayvon said was, either to the effect of, I believe, this is going to be easy, you die tonight or you have a piece, you die tonight. And then attempted to disarm him. So when you say, "have a bag of Skittles and an iced tea," nobody just stood there with a bag of Skittles and iced tea. You return force with force when somebody assaults you. George was out of breath, he was barely conscious, his last thing he remembers doing was moving his head from the concrete to the grass, so that if he was banged one more time he wouldn't be -- you know, wearing diapers for the rest of his life and being spoon fed by his brother, and there would have been George dead had he not acted decisively and instantaneously in that moment when he was being disarmed by --

MORGAN: I mean, there were people watching this saying, well, the family would say this, they're protecting their brother. He may well have invented this whole story. Once he realized what he'd done. He may have just thought, the only way I can get out of this is to use this "Stand Your Ground" law, and under Florida law, and just invent this whole story. He may have inflicted the injuries to himself. We don't know, do we? Nobody actually knows.

In fact, this was not even a national story for about three weeks after the shooting. The liberals politicized it, then it went national, then calls for bounties and special prosecutors and all that went out.

... and the MSM being a giant echo chamber of liberalism rapidly amped up the party line from the White House / Media Matters. Sort of like speaker feedback.

Now you suddenly see all these carrion feeders pulling back, reconsidering, having internal reviews. The letters from the lawyers must have hit the mail.

I was listening to a talk radio host who used to be a policeman today. He said that he’s learned that zimmerman’s father is/was a judge. That possibly explains why the initial detective’s recommendation to charge for manslaughter got stopped.

A Democratic judge interrupts the process of justice for his kid? It all needs to go into the mix of the investigation.

Even just as bad is that they actually watch those liberal crap shows and add to the viewing figures

____________________________________________________________

The liberal media has a lot invested in the story, it would be difficult for them now to abandon it and say they were wrong. Saying they were wrong is about the only thing that can save them from a terrible libel/slander suit. They may have already gone too far with altering the sallyport video and the 911 recording.

It is possible that the media will end up paying a lot of cash to Zimmerman but he will have to give it all to lawyers, the poor guys life is over, at least in his home community. There will always be someone waiting to kill him.

mag·is·trate [maj-uh-streyt, -strit] noun 1.a civil officer charged with the administration of the law. 2.a minor judicial officer, as a justice of the peace or the JUDGE of a police court, having jurisdiction to try minor criminal cases and to conduct preliminary examinations of persons charged with serious crimes. Zimmerman’s father, a former magistrate judge, http://www.nydailynews.com/news/national/george-zimmerman-lost-job-party-security-guard-aggressive-ex-co-worker-article-1.1053223 Robert Zimmerman is a Vietnam vet, as well as a former judge from Fairfax, Virginia. “Stand Your Ground” law???

Morgan is talking pure BS. Had nothing to do with that law.

The rest of the exchange is pretty close to what I had previously heard, multiple times. The father left our the expletive in his statement.

This is a real travesty. Zimmerman did nothing wrong. I am sad that Trayvon is dead, but he caused this. And he had a history of such stuff.

I'm not sure what your point was with that stream-of-consciousness rant, but my statement stands.

Someone stated that Zimmerman's father was a "judge", and that it was for this reason that Zimmerman "escaped punishment". The inference was that as a judge, Zimmerman's father held an office within the judicial system that included some power or esteem; this is an inaccurate depiction. A magistrate is not the same as a "judge" in Virginia, in the way the poster was relating.

Reciting a dictionary entry which has several definitions for magistrate, one of which is "JUDGE", as you so eloquently CAPSed at me, does not mean he was a "judge" as was inferred by the poster and was intended to convey a certain meaning.

I draw your attention to the Code of Virginia, § 19.2-37. Magistrates; eligibility for appointment; restrictions on activities:

B. Every person appointed as a magistrate on and after July 1, 2008, shall be required to have a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education. A person initially appointed as a magistrate prior to July 1, 2008, who continues in office without a break in service is not required to have a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education.

So, you see, Magistrates in Virginia are not even required to have a law degree or be attorneys and, during the period Zimmerman's father was a magistrate were not required to have a degree at all.

Virginia law does indeed include "magistrates" within the definition of "judges" generally, however my point was that Zimmerman's father held a lesser position than what was being inferred - a position of no particular esteem or power within the judicial system, and certainly not a "judge" who would have some sway over another state's law enforcement system.

Magistrates, I could say, are a "dime a dozen" in Virginia. Accordingly, Zimmerman's father could not have had any undue influence on any prosecution of his son in Florida by virtue of his having been a magistrate in Virginia.

The characterization later in your post, Zimmerman’s father, a former magistrate judge, I take no issue with, as it specifies magistrate judge, and does not lead the reader to an erroneous conclusion.

Ya, the liberals have told us that, if Zimmerman’s nose had been broken, that blood would have been gushing all over.

I tripped and fell face-first on my floor about three months ago. Broke my glasses into three pieces AND broke my nose. ....No blood from the broken nose! ....I did have dark areas under both eyes a day later and they lasted for a couple of days.

From earlier postings about GZ, I read that he was treated by the EMTs at the scene and even required some stitches to the gash at the back of his head. .....Hopefully all evidence will be presented to a Grand Jury and he will be no-billed.

Sure. I am certain strings were pulled in this case as you assert. I can see the conversation now:

DETECTIVE: “Hey, this guy we took into custody for the shooting, his name is Zimmerman. He says his dad is a former magistrate.”

DISTRICT ATTORNEY: “Really? Zimmerman, you say?”

DETECTIVE: “Yeah.”

DISTRICT ATTORNEY: (Speaking to others) “Hey. Anyone here know this Zimmerman guy or his dad?”

ASSISTANT DA 1: “No.”

ASSISTANT DA 2: “Umm...no.”

ASSISTANT DA 3: “Who?”

DISTRICT ATTORNEY: “Well, we gotta find out who this guy is. You, do a Google search on him. YOU, find out if he is important. We have to find out if this Zimmerman guy is one of ours...”

ASSISTANT DA 2: “What do we do if he is “one of ours”?”

DISTRICT ATTORNEY: “What, is this day one of your new job, or what? If he is “one of ours”, we can’t risk having him go down for this. Get the investigators on the case to scrub their story and make it more palatable so it won’t look like we are letting one of our buddies off. Talk to the EMTs, get their medical reports, and have them re-written.”

ASSISTANT DA 3: “Ummm, sir...the people there are saying guy is a no-count SOB who is reputed to be a rent-a-cop wannabe, pushing his agenda all over the condo association there...they say he shows up at meetings with a rottweiler and a gun! And there are witnesses all over...”

DISTRICT ATTORNEY: “DO I HAVE TO DO EVERYTHING MYSELF AROUND HERE? I DON’T WANT ANY CHARGES FILED AGAINST THIS ZIMBERLAND GUY!”

ASSISTANT DA 1: “Sir, his name is ‘Zimmerman’, not ‘Zimberland’ and his dad is a famous magistrate up in Fairfax, Virginia. He is very well connected with the DC crowd.”

DISTRICT ATTORNEY: “See? What did I tell you. Come on, folks. The night is getting long. Get this thing scrubbed so we can release this guy.”

There was a wake. I don't know how many attended, but Trayvon Martin's girlfriend did not attend, according to Crump.

Trayvon Martin Attorney Press Conference: Phone Logs Completely `Connect The Dots' | Mediaite (March 20th, 2012)

[Crump] further added that the friend, whose parents insist on her anonymity, has been deeply traumatized by the incident: "This was her really, really close personal friend. They were dating [...] She couldn't even go to his wake. She was so sick, her mother had to take her to the hospital, she spent the night in the hospital."
I haven't found a news account of a funeral or the wake.

What an idiot. I wonder how Santorum likes to be aligned with Jesse Jackson and Rev. Al.

Today, some retired NYPD cop on TV said that 98% of black victims are the result of black perpetrators. Why is black-on-black crime not newsworthy?

what’s sad, well pathetic I should say is that many in the black community care about this but not on black and black, black on white, black on whoever, hell many in tat community ignore their problems in the community.

We have had some blacks and whites coming to our state t protest and yet these idiots kn our laws and then they hold a sign stating “arrest Zimmermann “ etc

Obama, Sharptaon, MSM and all the pother race pimps have whopped some blacks up into a frenzy a long wiht certain dopey liberals.
