"My wife and I were talking about this the other night. Talk about a movie that did NOT need to be remade."

I can see one of my sci-fi bookshelves from where I am typing this on the first shelf alone are at least twelve excellent novels that have never been made into movies.

Why in God's good name does Hollywood need to keep remaking movies especially Sci-Fi.

I’d love to see a movie adaptation of Niven and Pournelle’s version of Inferno. I’m rereading it right now.

Talk about an intense movie.

It is a way for the original makers to cash in on a existing revenue stream with new tech. there was no streaming / blueray or any internet in that day.

I am glad they are finally making an Enders Game movie. Orson Card, the author is the one doing the screen play, so hopefully it will stay closer to his original concept. I also think they should remake Jumper and stick with the book closer. It would be a vast improvement.
