A federal parolee found himself back behind bars in South Dakota after burning some chicken wings.
Emergency workers in Mitchell on Monday responded to a report of a fire in an apartment. Police say the apartment had filled with smoke when the resident fell asleep while cooking chicken wings in the oven.

What!! Are you talking about the wondrous edifice that is the incredible Corn Palace of Mitchell, S. Dakota. The amazing creation that my wife and I journied thous er hundreds of miles to see? (Okay, so it was a side trip off I-90, and we were looking for a restaurant).I cannot comprehend how you fail to see that the Palace is the level of the pyramids of Egypt. What...stop laughing...this incredible structure was the uh er 187th most awe-inspiring sight that we saw on our trip. Right behind Reptile Gardens outside Rapid City.
