I’m not sure what investigations may be going on behind the scenes, but he said at the beginning of the program that his campaign was derailed by false allegations.
Everybody that had known him and worked with him for decades said they didn’t believe it.
Even Ann Coulter said the accusations were utterly unbelievable.
