The UK may not have the reputation for the most exciting or adventurous cuisine in the world, and looking at this array of astonishing edible 'treats' from around the globe, it seems we have along way to go.
If any of these nibbles takes your fancy you may have go further afield than the shelves of your local Waitrose or Sainsbury's to see the likes of boiled rat, armadillo or caramelised locust.
So those with a strong constitution should make their way to far-flung places such as Malawi, the Ivory Coast or North Korea where some of these crazy snacks are available.

Between nutria rat, mud bugs and ‘gator (and the occasional snake), these folks don’t have anything on Louisiana...except maybe the human breast milk.
It is certainly uncontaminated by cheese...
I guess you have to be pretty sophisticated to consume as delicacies crap from third world countries.
