Loved it. I have a 1973 340 Duster 100% original with all factory options waiting in the garage for one day.
Was restored once, then sat out for ten yrs, needs restored again.

After a diagnosis of terminal lung cancer last year, Annunziata asked Leno to take Duster, on the condition that Leno never sell it. Leno agreed, and when Annunziata declined any payment for the car, Leno made a donation in Annunziata's name to McPherson College in McPherson, Kan., the only college that offers a bachelor's degree in automotive restoration.Leno's a class act.

Leno is a curious guy. So classy when it comes to cars and such and appreciation for doing things correctly ...then, there’s that liberal side of him that just doesn’t match up with pride and self determination.

What a time warp. Back in the early 80's, I bought a rickety tan '71 with a blown Slant Six for $100, and a couple of us dropped in a low-mileage, wrecking yard 225 ourselves one weekend to get it on the road, plus my buddy had a sweet, dark gray '75 with a nicely warmed-over 340 Wedge. That vid made me feel like I was thirty years younger and sixty pounds lighter again. LOL

damn... sweet!!! in 73, my best friend at the time had a 1970/340 with road gears and 140mph was no problem... it was black with black reflector stripes down the sides and talk about one hot SOB under the Sarasota Florida sun, but we had a riot in that car

However, he IS in Hollywood, and the very air in that place is like a bad infection.

I had a brand new 75 Duster, think it cost like $4500. As a matter of fact had a used 74 Duster. Hated them, cause they didn’t have a FM radio in them. Of course, I was only 16 at the time.
