I am sometimes called on to serve coffee for customers, so the fresh roasted Costa Rican Tres Rios is what my dinner party customers expect when I'm cooking for a special event, I've been using it so long.
But in a pinch, coffee is coffee, and cheap is ok. I prefer to combine cheap with excellent quality anytime I can ;).

No getting around the fact that too much bread is too much bread, but the factory stuff really packs on the pounds, where homemade and artisan bread from a good local baker won't have some of the crap in it that helps convert the carbs into fats.
Bread is life, and Jesus used bread and fishes in one of his miracles. I figure He approves of moderate consumption of good bread. ;)

Im smoking Totally Vapor and like it a lot. Vape on, brother!
I didn't even intend to quit smoking when I bought mine. Just wanted a way to smoke when and where I normally couldn't.
Only problem is that now my computer desk looks like a meth lab with all my DIY ejuice supplies. Still, saving money and possibly my life is well worth it.

I made ‘buck’ in prison, when I was sentenced to 25-to-life for killing trolls.

Most of the price of tobacco is tax.”
Yes it is, but “It’s for the children”.

Would you be willing to share your recipe? I’ve been looking for one that was cheap to make.
To: mamelukesabre
Just FYI, you are wasting your money paying for pasta. It’s an item that between sales and coupons is almost always free or pennies on the dollar. Sometimes, they’ll even pay you to take it.

Good luck and best wishes. Tobacco is a mighty beast to defeat. I know.

I don't have a single recipe. It's based on whatever is cheap and in season, a lot like my cooking.
Good water, good yeast, clean equipment, good specific gravity, and lots of practice.
This batch was actually a Cooper's malt syrup can out of the pantry (I'm not sure how old it is), and using some dextrose I got a good price on in bulk.
In the fall, I'll be making pumpkin beer, like our founders.

That’s known as pruno. Glad it tasted good, though.

The children need to get a job, like I did when I was old enough to rake leaves for the neighbors.

I didn’t know killing trolls was a crime.

“If/when TSHTF....the guy with the smokes will do better than the guy with the macaroni...for bartering purposes....so wont the guy, who has a stash of bourbon. :)”
End of the world, If you have a huge stockpile of cigarettes, a still, weapons and ammunition, you will be an eleventy billionaire. Hmmm, all you need is Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms, strange that we have a whole government department dedicated to just those 3 legal things.

When the SHTF, all those nice *legal* things will be confiscated quid pro quo during martial law...so fast your head will spin.
Maybe PVC pipe should be on everyone's list. ;(

I often wonder what will happen when those that want to ban smoking get what they wish for. The taxes on tobacco are crazy high. Where will the replacement money come from. Perhaps that is why they are pushing the taxation of junk food now, but I have always seen this as a "be careful what you wish for" scenario for states like Massachusetts and New York who put about $6-7 dollars of taxes on their cigarettes. It's going to hurt when they finally get their way.
That being said, I quit 15 years ago, and it was the best thing, health-wise, that I've ever done. Sometimes I still miss it, though. :-P
To: JustCallMeFrank
I’m glad it’s not just me. I have bottles and bottles of e-juice on the desk, on my bookshelves; batteries, bags of new and used atomizers (I clean ‘em by soaking ‘em in cheap vodka), etc., etc.
But I haven’t smoked a cigarette since 12/9/09.
