The last robber to make off with casino chips from the Bellagio, in December 2010, was sentenced to three to 11 years in state prison for armed robbery and assault with a deadly weapon. Anthony Michael Carleo wore a motorcycle helmet as he waved a gun and made off with $1.5 million worth of high-value chips. He was arrested trying to redeem a $25,000 chip
Note to high-value chip thieves:

These chips are only a kind of a marker, and the casino generally knows who buys these markers, how many they win and lose, and how many are expected to be redeemed.

And it's all on camera. All the time.

Idiots.

I was in Vegas for a trade show. While I was having breakfast with my business partner, I mentioned to him that I didn't know how Keno works. Within 2 minutes, a lady shows up and asks if I have any questions on how Keno works.

I did the same thing the next day, and same thing happens. I don't know if they have voice recognition mikes in the booths, but it sure seems that way.

What happens in Vegas may stay in Vegas, but I don't think anything is private. Anything, anywhere. Scary.
